On presentation we could wrap either Blue/White or Yellow/Black Ribbon off it :)
Let's keep it democratic, I've made a poll to vote on which trophy idea to use, voting will close on the 1st of August.

Play it as a Curtain Raiser at the RoF.... it could not be any worse than the Young Heart Manawatu v Waikato game I sat through last year.
We would have been to about 6 pubs by then, I think it could possibly be worse (which is saying a lot)!

Just sorted mine, Leaving AKL 10pm Fri 20th Dec arriving WGTN 11pm, then leaving WGTN Monday 23 Dec 10pm arriving AKL 11pm
$86 all up for me and the kit bag :) (plus a sneaky little $6 card fee, meh)

We'll be staying at The Cambridge Hotel backpackers, decent rates, pretty central, and they do a good build-your-own-breakfast starting at $2 for eggs on toast
We'll need someone in Wellington organising their lot and a park for us to play at :)

Sorry we didn't get back to your email michaelme. I reckon it's a great idea. Let me run it past the other execs and we might be able to help organise and fund the seat, and get it engraved or screenprinted etc etc.

I was just going to pick up one from Mitre10/Bunnings closer to the day and get some coloured ribbons for it - Black and Yellow for Wellington, Blue and White for Auckland. Open for ideas though.

This match would be to make up for the lack of effort getting the start of the season match done.
I think it should be a bi-annual event... one match in Auckland, since they seem to have one game a season up here, and one game down in Wellington (since the guys make the effort to come up).
Let's start getting thoughts on this one, and maybe we could have the name of the thread changed? :)
