seems the lads have found a new way to win. great flow for all the goals, tomi being onvolved in starting 3 of them from left back - loved it! Play like that and we can beat anyone!
I'll take that, first half was just a continuation of the the Lens game, two brilliant goals, second half we pulled back and Wolves deserved their goal.

What a return on investment we are getting for Rice. And credit to the squad for not panicking. You do feel for Luxon but man did we make it hard on ourselves. 6 points up on City whose game in hand is vs a pretty handy Villa is a good place to be.

Havertz run to the front post that drew 2-3 defenders was the only reason Jesus had a free header for the 2nd goal. Awesome team player.
Interestingly, Havertz has the same games to goals ratio for us as he did Chelsea - 5:1.
I was gutted to miss this. For all of the control we've had this year, nice to have a wee reminder of last years madness. That had shades of Bournemouth at home last year, you love to see it!

He's one of these players that does a ton of little things well that you don't notice. Works very hard, has a great all-round game in his locker.

My favourite 6 yard screamer was Giroud vs Bayern (I think?), the ball popped up high and came down, he perfectly volleyed it with power into the open net. Beautiful hair, looking like an adonis, classic Giroud stuff

Disappointing result but even worse was how we played in the first half. A lot of passes going absolutely nowhere. Would have taken a draw if you’d asked me.
Staying with my parents this weekend so I happened to be watching the game with my Dad, the most one eyed of all Spurs fans. He was on the phone to my brother at the time of the disallowed goal so not fully concentrating. When he came off the phone he said "why was that goal disallowed? It was a handball by the Aston Villa player. That's fudgeing ridiculous." That's the first time in my life I've ever heard him say something in Arsenal's favour. This is someone who's response to Bergkamp vs Newcastle was "he pushed him!"

professional refs was the start, getting them up to any decent level is another thing. Even in the EPL the standard varies.
