Having lived in the UK for most of my life I'm not�naive enough to think that particular article was written from a completely unbiased perspective. However, as most of the criticism on here is also not written from anywhere near an�unbiased perspective, I just thought it would give another side.

I agree with your comments. Sam A was not one of my favourite people, but I have the utmost respect for him. I think he has done a good job at Blackburn and when you get someone like Sir AF making negative remarks due to his sacking, then it make you wonder.

Wait, Mr Ferguson was saying his sacking was a bad idea? Must be a great manager... Ffs, or maybe its because they're friends.

Exactly. I didn't hear a peep out of Fergie on Hughton's sacking, even though that was far more unjust.

Exactly.  Also for the record Ferguson often speaks out on managers getting the sack its not always reported.

He didn't actually mention Hughton in there, just a passing word about Newcastle. I suppose Hughton isn't a part of the old boys club so he misses out.

Interesting that the 'let's stick the knife into Allardyce' brigade are now joining forces to have a pop a Alex Ferguson.
