Also great sportsmanship from Terry. Kicking the ball out after we kicked it out for Cole's injury. Real classy.

I've long had my suspicions Buffy, but now you've proved conclusively that your comments should be treated with the utter contempt they deserve.  Frank goes missing in every big game?  His record of goals from midfield is second to NO ONE.

Ok lets see here, where was he earlier this season at the Emirates? Or at OT? Going back to last season he went missing in BOTH legs of the CL Semi against Liverpool. Same can be said for the same tie 2 years earlier.

So tell me, when did he last make a positive contribution on a match against either of the big four, or in a CL match from the Quarter Final stages onward?

Score in both legs to knock Arsenal out CL in 2004-05 season, if you only class positive contributions with goals.

It was in 03-04. And considering he has this reputation as a prolific goal scoring midfielder i'd say in big games yes for him positive contributions include scoring, not to mention controlling the midfield.

Three for me, and two for them.

Chelsea so lucky to get three points in the end - Should have had the match over before half-time but piss poor finishing let us down, the same for Middlesborugh in the 2nd half. Still another 3 points and we did finish the match with 11 players. [ dirty Arsenal ]

Was it "you don't know what you're doing" aimed at the manager again?

Yes, the team is in 2nd place with a manager that dosn't known what he is doing !!!!! rest of the teams below must be crap. How he got the side to second is a f...ing mystery to most Chelsea supporter.New manager in 2009 even if he does win something !!!!!!!!!
Beating Middlesborough 1-0 at home is a disgrace, especially when you score 2 against Arsenal the week previous.

It appears you didn't even watch the game last week - that's what the crowd were chanting at Grant.

I think you'll find the odds have changed a bit.

$1.70 Arsenal
$2.75 Man U
$7.00 Chelsea

LATEST ODDS -   Man UTD    $1.16
                           Chelsea      $6.20

$6.20? That must be the shortest odds Chelsea have had all season.

The thing is, unless manure lose both of those big matches there is virtually no chance that either chasing side will catch them.

$6 is the difference between a team on the rise and a team dropping like the proverbial stone.

I hope the lofty heights you reached after that performance against Middlesbrough don't give you altitude sickness.

You've got to admit he's got a point, stylish football isn't something you associate with England and certainly not Chelsea.

Avram Grant  - see you later pal , Rijkarrd seems to have one foot in the door now, plus with Frank Arnesen having alot of influence Chelsea wil be signing a few Dutch players [ Huntelaar and Van de Vaart expected to sign]
The 1-1 draw with Wigan proves Grant is out of his depth, and I think he seems to know it [ team selection again is poor], when on the bench he goes through the motions but really has no idea what is going on[ Steve Clarke making most of the decsions]. He is to be  moved  " upstairs " regardless of results in the next few games.
How Avram Grant got this job and how he has Chelsea in second place in the Premiership is anyone guess !!!! [ alot of luck]
This season Chelsea's football has been continuously of a poor standard, WHICH the  money man won't stand for[ even though he put him in charge].

ps; Don't now about Longunman kissing the mirror, looks like Avram Grant to me

Just when you think he's blown it he pulls another rabbit out of the hat!  I think we all have opinions on whether he should have been appointed and how long he will last.  To his credit though, we're still in there fighting for the two biggest prizes.  The Liverpool and Man Utd games will define his future at Chelsea without a doubt.  God help us if we get Rijkarrd.
