Yeah unlucky Chelsea, was really worried about you guys in the final and you's showed why you deserved to be there. Put up a good fight and a strong 2nd half. Terry was immense, just unlucky he missed.

Well played boys, outstanding game and you gave it everything.  Cech was brilliant saving those two strikes earlier in the game, then Ronaldo's penalty.

JT saved a certain goal off Gigg's with his head....stand tall our captain!

Gutted to lose on pens, we had our chances....twice hitting the woodwork.  Was that Drogba's final act in a blue shirt.....

A very good but not a great Chelsea season......

I really don't like Chelsea but I feel for you in respect that you have the likes of Drogba wearing your team shirt. I hope he leaves England next season.

Jose , it was just a shame he slipped at the vital moment. However, I think Terry will bounce back as a better player. He's had a taste of a Final, he'll want to win it even more than ever. I cant believe Drogba got a red for that slap, it was on par with a certain Aussie referee last season. lol did any of u guys notice the letter L on joe coles forehead in the final made from grass after he hit the turf at 1 time, stayed there like 5minutes including when he came off.. absolute gold, was watching the game with my team, soo funny

I gotta respond to that article. Grant is a lot better coach than many give him credit for. It wasn't him whom drew with Bolton, the players on the pitch didn't play with any killer punch. Against Man U, the players were a bit lethargic other than Terry. Jose, add Carvelho to your list. Everytime I see him play I wonder why he was even picked. Just shows how ruthless they are.  While I've never thought he was the right man for the job, Avram goes with my grateful thanks for turning around our season and giving us a wonderful European adventure when we had no right to get anywhere. I wonder how much it cost to pay him off given he had a four year contract?

I think all any fan wants is players who bleed the club's colours as much as they do.  John Terry certainly fits the bill; you could tell that missing that penalty was the worst moment of his life. 

Bye bye Avram, thanks for a thrilling season and for your efforts in leading us to what would have been a hugely successful season by most other clubs standards.

Mancini, Hiddink, Rijkaard.....or Jose's return has even been rumoured.....

JT and Carvalho were an immense pairing at the back for us most of the season....I rate both of them highly and appreciate JT's letter.

Ballack is the player who has impressed me most of all this season.....and I really wasn't that fussed on him last season at all.

Would love to see Mourinho come back.  What a shame the world's richest club got Ian Dowie before we had a vacancy.  Roman will be kicking himself...

Rijkaard should come in and we may finally see Chelsea play an expansive attacking brand of football.

Perhaps you should just sign KK from the Barcodes.  He always has a great philosophy for attacking football.

2 La Liga titles back to back and a Champions League in 06 that completed a League and European double. Not bad if you ask me. He knows how to tighten it up when needed too (see Barcelona vs Milan, 06 CL Semi Final).

Rijkaard might not have the man management skills for the long term, but he's got results.
Nervous that he will crack under the pressure.
Spain is odd in that you can win the cup, but if you lose to Real Madrid you lose your job.

Apparently it's Chelsea's fault Portugal got knocked out of the Euros even though the Portugeezers knew he was leaving before the tournament started and therefore the players as well presumably.  God give me strength.

Lampard wants a 5 year deal @ 140,000 quid a week, Chelsea offer a 4 year deal [ not bad in my view]- to match the other aging " stars " at Chelsea. Except the contract now  Frank or play for the reserves for a season before you go to ITALY.

Farewell Maka.  What a sensational player he was for Chelsea but probably now past his best.  He will be missed.  And what a nice guy too by all accounts.
