I haven't enjoyed watching Torres play this much since the 07-08 season. Brings a big smile to my face it does.
.....the same could be said as for watching Liverpool this season.........maybe next year

well only saw the first half before i had to go to work, poor defending for the goal, especially from bosingwa. unlucky for lamps to have 2 shots cleared off the line.

havent seen them yet but from the sounds of it we had a clear penalty denied then torres was booked for diving.

left ourselves with alot to do at OT, we were the last team to win there though mind you. its the only tie still left open. should be a cracker of a game.

Wasn't it the other way round when Chelsea beat them a few weks ago? Just asking?

No. I'm not a Man U supporter. Or a Chelsea fan, for that matter.

Should be a good 2nd leg then.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Sometimes refs get it wrong. They got it wrong in the CL semi (at the Emirates in '09) when Fletcher made an inch perfect tackle on Fabregas to prevent an almost certain goal, but the ref gave a penalty and sent off Fletcher. Thankfully Man Utd were already 3 nil up and went through to the final, however Fletcher was suspended and missed the final and his work rate and presence may have improved the effectiveness of Man Utd's midfield against Barcelona.

Ah, but no one really complained because it didn't effect the outcome of the game.

In this case it has a huge baring on the next leg.

Either way, my arguement is 20% logic and 80% emotion, 'ate the scum.

Who cares? It's Chelsea that suffered. Good.

At least they are still in with a good chance in the Champs league.

Yeah because that would do your title chances a great deal of good. Oh wait...

Three for me, and two for them.

pretty average win vs wigan, but a win is a win. scrappy goal but a goal is a goal.

we played ok for periods but were just a bit slow and slugish going forward. should really have been 1-0 up inside the first minute. really good to see benayoun and alex make a return though. gives us a bit more depth coming off the bench
how did torres not score, the whole stadium is willing him to score, im sure it will come.

sturridge has looked extremely good at bolton, another 2 very well taken goals, could do with him at the bridge at the moment. still, at least it shows he should be around next year

yea i got up at 2 to watch and was bloody pissed when odemwingie (sp?) scored, nice finish btw. was really impressed with our fightback though, something that has been sorely missing this season. really well taken goal by kalou aswell. made it look easy from a pretty tough angle. lampard too with a nicely taken goal

just gone 3-0 up, 30 ish to go

saw the first half, wonderful strike by kalou, hes been real quality as of late. drogba to has been really lively, creating chances out of nothing.

great to see bertrand get the assist for the 3rd

west ham at home tonight. we should have enough to get past them but nothing is certain in this title race. just gotta keep on winning and see what happens elsewhere in the league.

thats a good, well earned 3 points. when we didnt score after our dominance during the first 20 mins i thought we could end up drawing the match but the strike from frankie just before halftine was just what we needed, really well taken. they really should have levelled it up on numerous occasions.

THEN TORRES SCORED!!!!!  . was a nicely taken goal too, the ball held up in the wet, he turned and shot with the other foot very cleanly past the keeper.

maloudas goal at the end was a screamer, hes been in good goal scoring touch as of late.

dissapointing to see man utd won but thats out of our hands, all we can do is just keep winning

yea played pretty well actually, to be fair though hes never really played bad, just hasn't scored till this morning. did really well to set up anelka with pretty much his first touch but anelkas shot beat green but was cleared by a defender.

good though, now we can forget about all that garbage and focus on what matters

Well, our woeful performance against Bolton pretty much means you guys won't win it either.  Can't see us really getting up for the United game as much as we would have if we were still in it.  I mean, there's motivation due to it being United but the players will be massively deflated.

Still hope your lot can somehow win the title, though.
