A footballer has been criticised for a "handcuffs" goal celebration apparently in support of a jailed drink-driver. Ipswich Town midfielder David Norris crossed his wrists, an apparent message for former team-mate Luke McCormick.

Ex-Plymouth goalkeeper McCormick was jailed for seven years for causing the deaths of Aaron Peak, 10, and Ben Peak, 8, after drinking at Norris's wedding.

why didn't Tim Cahill get ripped like this when he did the same thing for his brother who was in jail?

Eric Rush once did it (sober) and killed a male driver and severely injured the female passenger, all he got was a 10k fine.

Wow, on a side note that Ipswich goalie got 7 years for killing 2 kids, Sean Cahill got 6 years just for beating a guy up. that's pretty ridiculous imo.

The reason I haven't forgotten Rush is that the next day or so later, he ws in the warehouse hocking off his autobiography that probably paid the fine. He was using Glen Osborne's Ford having borrowed it off him to "rush" back to Auckland from somewhere.
