righto, by my reckoning with 12 games to go there is 11 sides who are all potentials for the trapdoor.

lets have some tips on who is gone

I'll go

Cardiff

Norwich

Aston Villa

If Newcastle had offloaded YC 2 weeks earlier I'd throw them in.

Given there are 11 teams still in the zone, will 40 points be needed to stay safe this year?
Fulham

Cardiff
Palace
And Sunderland.

Think Fulham is playing ok and will make it to safety

I went to Villa vs West Ham last weekend, and Villa were very average.  Albrighton came on for them with about 25 minutes to go, and they started to look threatening, so maybe he will make a difference.  Without him they offered very little.

The interesting thing about this season is that so many of the clubs are really erratic.  Fulham were terrible for about a month, and a shoe-in to go down, but after 2 good performances everyone is saying that they will be fine.  Similar to West Ham - 3 wins on the spin and we were top half and seemingly safe.

My predictions are

* Cardiff - all their eggs in a Zaha shaped basket and I personally don't think he is consistent enough

* Norwich - don't score enough goals

* Fulham - will revert back to mediocrity after getting up for the 2 big games.

Fulham sack meulensteen! With 12 games to go! Any other relegation threatened clubs likely to grasp at the manager change straw?

I reckon Moyes is safe for this season.

Watch Newcastle slide and hit the panic button.

Surely Hughton has to be next? Well, maybe!

I have bets on villa and Southampton at the start of the season.

Southampton aren't going to happen )$220 return), but I stand to win a few hundred if villa go down.

the way that Magath is being made out it seems likely he will take the squad away on a 2 month fitness boot camp, bringing them back as the fittest team the world has ever seen to play the last game (with them needing 8 points to avoid relegation).

be interesting to see how Sunderland respond to their cup disappointments

Palace and Norwich in their next 2 games

Fulham, Cardiff and Sunderland for me. Leicester, Burnley and someone else for promotion. QPR are gifting away valuable points, Derby are on a strong roll.

Wonder wher Cardiff would be if they didn't sack Mackay? Seemed like an odd decision. Fulham same situation with manager changes

Sunderland just should not be that bad.

I'm finding it hard to argue that Sunderland are staying up..

Think we've had it.

took a while but eventually (and probably unlikely to help a lot)
I guess Norwich will be relying on fulham's minor recovery expiring very quickly

so, it seems a long way from a done deal

Sunderland seem to have found some form

now predicting and - because it doesn't include Hull City - hoping for:

Norwich

Fulham

Cardiff

Agree Norwich Fulham Cardiff - as long as sunderland knock off Cardiff next week.

i'm still picking Sunderland to go down, mainly because since i gave up hope we've played some good stuff and got 2 unbeliveable results..  our problem is we don't turn up for games we should win, so Cardiff, West Brom and Swansea at home will be tough.. we'll smash Man Utd at old trafford tho..

Sunderland are one of those teams at the moment that are too good for the championship but not good enough for the EPL. WBA are similar.

well, we woke up after they woke up ...  to find ourselves two goals down

the first half put the entire planet to sleep

nice that we could turn a bit of a nightmare into - if not a dream result - at least an adequate one
