ha ha  A.J went too Fulham with a thigh injury, the Wagner Love deals fallen through (no surprises there),James Vaughan could've played this saturday, but must train with Andy van der Meyde,as he's picked up another injury in training  and the Everton faithful going to Goodison for the game this weekend are taking their boots along just in case we need a few "fill in's" and protest at the lack of transfer activity coming in
it's good to be a blues fan

Yeah i'll take a draw, we only have 10 senior players to choose from for this weekends game,i also hear some of your players aren't to happy with Paul Ince in terms of management style. sounds like a fair fight to me

Thought we had a point but Nelsen hit the post and we didn't clear. Ouja tap in. Gutted and with 6 teenagers on the bench I'm a tad concerned about the season ahead.

Its no longer a problem.

very exciting game, I had settled for the draw, so very happy this morning.

Thought you guys did well considering how few senior players were available, but yep if no signings are made soon, it might be a long hard season for you guys

Don't patronise us! Get back to that other thread...   NOW!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Joleon Lescott brain fade, yakubu brain fade,Ryan Nelsen bloody unlucky not to get on the score sheet
David Moyes stunned mullet look, summed it all up at the end
well done though  rovers took your chances and to be fair probably had the better moments of the game.

I managed to catch the last ten minutes, nice header from Nelsen that hit the bar and set up the last goal, but wow does he has a goal scoring curse for blackburn.I think that is about the 4th time I've seen him hit the bar now and yet he still hasn't scored a goal for them.

I was flicking between this and the Bolton game, unlucky on the young guy heading over in the last 10 minutes, he'll be kicking himself now knowing he could have won it.

Tiago Mendes all but signed on a 1 year loan and Jimmy Bullard looking good too. I always liked Bullard as a player. I think he'll fit in nicely.
Both transfer stories have 3 kippers.

I'm really not getting my hopes up Toffeeman,i hope we get some players in Tiago and M'Bia maybe,Moutinho looks like a no go and the papers are just getting stupid with all the names thrown about, so i'm resigned to waiting until deadline day and checking the normal sites for any new news that comes about in the mean time but..

i'd really like to know wtf is going on"off the field" though, like why David Moyes still hasn't signed a contract, how have we ended up like this after such a great season just gone, no one wanting to join and everybody leaving.
As Bigdunc said earlier something's not right

Yeah I'm just waiting to see who we get and when. I would be a little suprised if we pick up Bullard, he seems quite loyal to Fulham from what he said over the course of last year.

Still, money talks. We definatley need couple of midfielders, and probaly another physio, for when they inevitably end up injured like everyone else.

Are our training facilities not  up to scratch??

I was on Newsnow.co.uk looking at the transfers a couple days ago and it had a huge heading, Everton makes first signing... excited to see who it was I clicked on immediately to have a look. It was a new scout!!

We need to sign someone!

I did like the idea of Smith, but only if he's played in a defensive midfield role. The boy couldn't score in a brothel. But he'll kick the sh*t out of you!

I hope I can stay in Welly for a week in Jan, take in the Nix v Nutpunchers and catch up with the Toffees on this forum to watch the FA Cup game or maybe stay a bit longer and watch the Hull game. I can finally take Bigdunc up on his kind offer of a free beer!

I see it's a direct replacement for Hibo whose out for 2 months, which means Phil Neville can move in as a defensive midfielder to replace Cars i guess, as we really need one, but i really reckon Pip plays best at right back.

Well this one certainly caught me by surprise, Louis Saha (who i thought we would sign before Elmander came in) will join Everton for an undisclosed fee subject to passing a medical.

So yeah dont get too excited yet, he probably wont pass the medical knowing his fitness...

Everton agree Saha signing
Everton have announced they have agreed to sign Manchester United's Louis Saha, subject to a medical.
Toffees boss David Moyes had agreed an undisclosed fee for the France striker, who has been offered a two-year contract with the option of a one-year extension.
The 30-year-old former Newcastle and Fulham forward will become Everton's third signing in a week following the captures of Lars Jacobsen and Segundo Castillo providing he is passed fit by the club's medical staff.
Saha, whose spell at Old Trafford was beset by injuries, has 18 international caps and scored 42 goals during his United career.
Saha's arrival significantly strengthens Everton's attacking options and caps off a busy few days for Moyes, who admitted last week that his resources were too thin for the rigours of a Premier League campaign.
He has since signed former Nuremburg player Jacobsen on a free transfer and secured a year-long loan deal for Red Star Belgrade midfielder Castillo.
The Scot's hopes of bringing Juventus' former Chelsea playmaker Tiago hit the rocks when the player turned down a move to Merseyside but there could be further additions before the end of the month, with Nigeria striker Victor Obinna also a target.

so if all the players we've picked up came in as loan deals, apart from Saha who is on a pay as you play deal, we've spent nothing in the transfer budget, why did we sell A.J ??
