can we beat chelsea tomorrow ?
no tater or ossie both out injured might mean Cars and Pip start in the midfield which will hamper our creativity a bit.
Manny seems to be finding some form lately though,a draw puts us 5 points ahead of Portsmouth who play Man Citeh away, while a win keeps us in the hunt for 4th if the  sh!te slip up (not really likely though)

o.k so i'm  so over last weeks drab performance v Chelski
does it make  this weekends game versus Villa  our biggest of the season ?
i know we still have arsenal to play, but this is really a crunch game and Villa have been in fine form lately.
Hopefully we can find some form and take the 3 points, makes us a bit safer in fifth.

We will be helped by the return of both Mikel Arteta and Leon Osman meaning a more creative midfield
maybe the team will be
                        Howard
         Neville Yobo Jags lescott
Arteta Carsley Fernandes Pienaar
                   Yak  A.j

Oh to be finishing top 5, how nice it would be. Spurs fans wouldn't understand but QPR fans can, we finished there when the premiership was first launched!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I'm back. Just thawed out with a week in Italy (no footy though). Watched the Villa game on the way home in London. Average first half but very exciting second. Poor marking cost us both goals. A draw was a fair result. Hopefully a win over the Arse and/or the Toon Army will secure a top 5 spot.

Its no longer a problem.

welcome back toffeman, a win over the ar$e without tater and cahill and an out of form yak is a bloody big ask, lets hope Villa slip up this weekend.I reckon we need four points to stay 5th so a draw tomorrow and a win against newcastle should see us right, but the way we've been playing lately makes me worried.

Villa and Portmouth both lost so we need one point from the Arse or Newcastle.

Its no longer a problem.

According to Forbes, manure are. But our three owners only have a combined wealth of over 53 BILLION US Dollars.

I read somewhere that Real Madrid overtook Manure this year? Of course, that could have changed, it was a couple months ago...meh, if I was worried about which team had the richest owner I'd be a yachting fan

Oh no, not an Americas Cup fan!! Everton did a good job against the Arse. Shame about the goal but wasn't it very well taken.

I read a really interesting fact today, apparently Liverpool when the club was first established tried to call themselves Everton but were rejected by the higher authorities.

Rightfully so, imagine what a bunch of winey w**kers  we'd have to be today to support Everton had they been succesful in getting the names.

Go the true blues and not the winey red rags of Liverpool, the club which wasn't good enough for our name.

Interesting that Zenit St petersberg won the UEFA cup today. They looked a good side. To think that we beat them home and away in the group stages.
A couple of good buys from The Moysiah and we're seriously going places next year!
