Ho hum. 2 great goals by Manure, one lucky deflection. We're not a stratch on last years side with all these injuries. Hopefully we can return to form sooner rather than later.

Its no longer a problem.

yeah just wish we didn't have Hull mid week before the Derby.

Despite the midweek game against Hull which will tire our squad, I think this is the best time to face Liverpool. They are performing well below par and Torres is confirmed to be out.

Is Hull a League game? Our game is on Monday (over here), no? I agree, you couldn't wish for a better time to play us! Torres isn't confirmed out of the derby yet, but he isn't travelling to Hungary. Still might make the derby though, so I've heard. Doubt it, to be honest. But hopefully! Should be an interesting game though. Ngog will be using all his tactics because, without Torres, its hard to see where a goal will come from! Your lot must be licking your lips at the sight of our set piece defending, as well....

Hull is a league game being shown on 11am Thursday. The derby is on Monday in NZ time so we will both be tired after midweek games. Gerrard is reportedly going to play but with injections. I hope not to see him!

Ahkay. We play tomorrow, so we should have a bit more of a rest. Haha, perhaps understandably. Gerrard will prove a bit more of a challenge than Riera or somebody from our already thin squad!

I suppose we both have thin squads at the moment so the disadvantage is shared

Yeah, that's true. Mind you, we are a two-man team! Haven't really been following how you've been going lately, although you tend to start off badly and then grow stronger as the season progresses.

We are missing our arguably two best players in Jagielka and Arteta but you rely on Torres and Gerrard much more than we do on any of our players. Everton had a bad start last year but managed to turn it around, hopefully we can do the same this year

I'll keep quiet until after the game and then gloat that I won (either way) or be happy with a point . Feeling VERY conflicted right now.

Its no longer a problem.

Oh well. You can head into the derby with a bit of pride and fight, in contrast to our lacklustre midweek performance.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Not ranting at you but pride be f**ked we blew a great chance to get back up the table today we had a game in hand and could've gone ahead of you guys with a win(seems really unlikely now though) on the weekend but no we get off the bus and give a 1st half performance like that. while we've been punching above our weight for a few years now there was no excuse for turning up and playing like that today or ever

That was extremely frustrating. And to add to my frustration, my TV went blank in the first half! All I could hear was us giving away fouls and conceding goals. I suppose my TV blanked out on our worst half so I didnt have to go through it

Fair enough. I doubt there has been a derby with both teams so low on confidence before!

A swiping midfield clearance takes a deflection into our goal and that's all they've had all game, we're all over them if only davey would get a striker on who knows the offside rule and how to beat it we'd be three up by now

Going down, going down, going down...

A pretty poor performance from us, but will take the result! Your lot were all over us, and Pepe kept you out (and some poor finishing). That "Argentine gobsh*te" bossed the place putting in tackle after tackle. Pretty nervous stuff for us, but oh well. And, in a random moment of complete disgust, Pienaar is a whinging t**ser and I hope Siggy breaks his leg in the WC. Not many stayed behind to applaud the fight?

Oh well. Beat Spurs next weekend and you'll be alright.

I know you're a Liverpool fan but Jeez you talk some sh*t, congrat's on a win you didn't derserve but the whinging award goes to that "argentine Gobsh*te" you talk about and that fairy Lucas running to ref waving their hands looking for a card,  bossed us my arse

You're clearly lacking any spelling ability... Gosh. I'm just winding you all up. f**king hell, I think I deserve that given the amount of protecting of my team I've had to do in the past few weeks!

Don't be hating on Javier. You should be thankful you had my old boy Heitinga in there. Oh yip. Fair enough. But Pienaar, that lad doesn't complain about anything, and he never acts like its the end of the world when a throw in goes against him- when it clearly came off him anyway. So I'm thinking the whinging award can go to him . Come on, mate, I never said Lucas bossed you! I'm not that delusional! But Masch was everywhere. I don't want to hear anything else. He didn't create much- thats not his job- but he was everywhere. No discussion. And don't have a go at his celebration either.

Look, I'm into one love and all that jazz, so I don't really want to piss you off too much. But come on. What about that 1-1 at Anfield last year (in fact, both) where we deserved to win and you nicked a draw? I could keep winding you up, but I feel bad enough as it is. So lets leave it there.
