Through to the Knock out stages primo  but jesus we're paying a heavy toll with all these injuries

Whose going to line up for us against Spurs ?

K.P if you do indeed start  you'll be required to take an early yellow card by chopping and injuring  Defoe and your 2nd yellow should come soon after for knobling  robbie keane within the first say 15-20 minutes if you can, just as far outside the box as possible though huh.I'll take care of the  tall streak of weasels piss( crouch)  while they're warming up, might be able to clip a few defenders on the way, hey gotta make it an even contest after all

Dear Everton,
I have a plan. Sign me on a free, at the first whistle I will ignore the ball and proceed to end the careers of Lennon, Defoe and Keane in a display of such brutality that no one who sees it will remain unaffected. I will then be banned for life by FIFA, announce my retirement, and leave the country.

You know it makes sense, I look forward to your reply.

Kiwi Pie.

Gold. Pure gold.

Three for me, and two for them.

After the Melbourne game last night, I had some guy come up to me and say 'congratulations, great team mate' and shook my hand. I was wearing my Everton shirt of course. Just wondering if that was anyone here?

True, it just hadn't happened to me before so I wasn't expecting it! I also got a 'Who are ya!' from someone, I assume a Liverpool fan

David Moyes says he is considering naming himself in the Everton team to face Tottenham, as the club's injury crisis mounts.

Keen to see Moyes play. I remember that the manager Owen Coyle played in a reserve match for Burnley earlier this season and he seemed alright so hopefully Moyes will be if he plays.

What a dramatic game. Almost feels like a win. Saha was good when he came on and I thought Coleman played very well

I'll take that point to be fair. Spurs are on form and we have 5 players plus our Under 15's to pick from. Even more so considering we were 2-0 down. Shows some real heart in the team.

Its no longer a problem.

Bittersweet. Glad for the draw, but my God, we'd be something if we could keep the lads fit. Coleman was great, more of the same please, young fella.

Coleman was superb! I actually watched the game because I have nothing to do today, and almost felt sorry when I saw Yobo come off. But Coleman was excellent. Are Saha and Yakubu not fully fit? Because Jo is awful... Gotta be happy with that, given the commentators talk of "Spurs have changed this season. Before they may have lost, or only come away with a point but they look good for three today" or something at 0-1. And last minute penalty save... Hmm.

Oh, and I was disappointed not to see you, Kiwi Pie, but I can almost see where the club is coming from with their reply...

3 RB's in our back four no recognised centre backs after Yobo went off poor bugger good on him for manning up to start but you could see he was struggling
and once Jo went off and we had two up front we looked a bit more potent ,young coleman down the right had a good game going forward got caught out a bit in defence but sh*t he was good today for us
Still could've used a bit of K.P on old Assou-Ekotto after his attempt at raking  the grass from Tim Cahill's head with the studs of his boots cheeky w**ker
Tim Howard saving the penalty will lift the boys spirits as well that should have the dressing room bouncing ,this could be a turning point for us eh ?

Cannot understand why DM will not play 442? It is frustrating when we put in a performance like this. The 451 and 4411 does not work. It is too negative, boring and predictable. If we do not get a corner or free-kick how else are we going to score.
Permalink Permalink
over 16 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
Have to agree but I'm glad though when he does play a 4411 he finally realised it's better to have Cahill back in behind the striker rather than Felli, that's when Tim's Goals started to drop off when he mucked around with that but it would be nice too have two out and out strikers starting
