Where is everyone watching this in town?
The Thistle! Maybe not?
Wherever the YF crew decides....
Feverish - maybe a scout around town for those pubs showing it
and then a poll?

Will be watching it and getting pissed in Aucks!

Probably at Home. Might get the Junior News up in the middle
of the night for his first FA Cup final.
Be nice if they closed the grounds though so I don't have to play Sunday...

Speakers Corner Browns Bay is where the United supporters club will
be watching us do the double

Scrap that Speakers isn't opening for it - Paddington in Parnell is
where the Chelsea lads will be - United will probably be a Fox's at
the viaduct or the Albion across from Sky City

I'll watch it - might even front up at the Albion if MUFC
Supporters Club are going to be there (I've run a few quiz nights
for them and the company's always good) but it's been a while since
I felt this flat about the Cup Final. Man U vs Chelsea just doesn't
cut it for me, rather it was Villa/Reading or something else a bit
more unfamiliar.

I was told yesterday that upstairs at Kitty O'Shea's is a good spot
for footie watching - any other Welli suggestions?

Kitty's was tops last year, and is open again for the
game...probably the best spot in Wellington...

BNU has organised for The FA Cup Final to be shown at the Cambridge
Hotel in Cambridge Terrace, just around the corner from Courtenay
Place.
All welcome, plenty of room (way more room than at Kitty's) plus cheap food and drink available. Doors open around 11pm for 2am kick-off.
Hope to see you all there for a great night!

If you can guarantee a brawl between opposing supporters I will be
there! Big screen?

Big screen - definitely. The Cambridge has lots of screens about
the place.
Brawl - can't guarantee it but you never know your luck!
Would be great if there was an obvious Yellow Fever/Wellington Phoenix presence down there though. Good opportunity for a few beers and a bit of self-promotion.

Don't forget to get along to the Cambridge Hotel tomorrow night for
the FA Cup final.
Should be a great game and a good chance for Yellow Fever to
get together and get the party started!

I didn't even watch it in the end, first one I've missed live since
1974. And the result and report I've read seems to vindicate my
decision.

I wish i didn't stay up and watch it. Was the most boring game. Had
as much quality as the borefest cricket match and the pathetic
South African Super 14 final that were on at the same time.

I'm glad I stayed up. The yachting was really exciting. (well,
compared to the football it was anyway).

The news has just announced that Sport is on after the ads, and I
can't even be bothered going to see the coverage of it. I've seen
Drogba's goal, that's enough for me. Would rather see the play-off
finals next weekend.

We got some funny looks when we first got in. Luckily we knew a few people so we were all good. Nowhere else was f**king open! We tried everywhere. Shame we couldnt buy beer, I was up for getting trounced. But nah the breakfast was quite good ay, good on the chef let us have some. To be honest talking to the 2 pissed guys beside us was more fun that watching the game!

Yeah well what can i say we have the funniest people at our club.

The Paddington went off - pity about the game - the Chelsea boys
are based there (or should that be debased) and they extended the
invite to the United supporters club.
Lots of Chelsea, quite a few United and some neutrals. Flags,
songs, beer - good night pity about the result and the ref being
blind, but otherwise worthwhile.

Typical of the west London millionaires, play a boring game and as
usual win by 1 goal.
