Nope. Pretty sh*tarse.

And as someone said up their, "Sky have used football as a toy for years" - have you noticed every ad they put on, to put something incredible in it they use a football goal. Not a rugby try. Dick heads they are.Michael2009-03-07 23:35:06

in the context of our current situation hovering just above the drop, we've got  a trip to London (we like those) and then Chelsea at ours if we want to do the 'impossible' and get to an FA Cup final

so, I wonder what PB will do?

(anwers on the back of a postcard please ....)

edit - not sure what the crazy fontwobble is about, but i'm sure you can live with it :-)

Concentrate on avoiding the drop zone?

I'd say it's a different Hull side from the one we faced earlier this season (and hopefully a different Arsenal side too!).

i expect you are right about PB's focus there Arsenal

and i hope the Arsenal players take the attitude expressed in your second sentence into the game with them

According to the SKY website they have obtained the rights for the FA Cup final on 30 May.

I hope they have the semis too (although I doubt it). Two pretty tasty matches there.

Despite my comments on the offside winner, I do hope the Arse win their semi.

Confirmed with the nzhearld.co.nz http://msn.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=10566040

We get the semi-finals too. That is awesome!! I bet we get a good viewship number leading up into the finals. I am willing to bet the viewship numbers will be the biggest for many years just because of the semi-finals are shown the week before and also it includes four well supported clubs.

Spread the word . . !!

Yaaaa!! No more Sky TV trash. I welcome TVNZ back.

Does anyone knows who is presenting it?AllWhitebelievr2009-04-09 17:29:26

Where are you NZG? Most sports bars will have it (well, some...), unless of course your in Tassie, when any standardised form of logic cannot be applied.

Geoff Bryan is quite well versed on Football. I met him at a Telethon many years ago and we had a decent chat. Knew more than I expected from him. Now to install my free view onto my Laptop to watch it as I may be away this weekend.

Arsenal 3 - 2 Chelsea
Everton 0 - 2 Man U

I can't see Everton troubling the scorers with no strikers. Arsenal and Chelsea are both in good goal scoring form so I expect a few there.

Of course, Arsenal will then prevent Man U winning the FA Cup.

I think you're just going to get the Setanta Poms as commentators.

Also its good to see everyone ruling United out of everything again.

I'm pretty sure they will have someone like Bryan for the build up and after match commentary. It'll probably be the same crew they get for the Confed cup and the World Cup games next year.

Three teams playing for the three most notable trophies, no one could have written a script like this. I wonder what the bookies would have offered at the start of the season for that trifecta in trifectas??

Of course, we already have the Community Shield, World Club Cup and Carling Cup LG...

1-0 United and the other game, I really have no idea. I think Arsenal might have a good chance actually. Be interesting to watch.

In LG's defence he did say "notable" trophies.

Could this be the best possible run-in in the 21st Century??

Prem League - Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Ars
FA Cup - Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton
Champs League - Man U, Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea

Man U vs Arsenal could be played out 4 times from now till the end of the season!

AND Yes in that order..
