Yep so 3 subscriptions now if you follow an EPL team who is also in Europe. Sky for EPL, DAZN for CL, Europe, Conference League, and now Bein for FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

Another day, more Sky Sport goal rush bullshark.

Currently watching the game with 25% of the screen lost to a banner with the words "GOAL RUSH"

Constant cutting to games with are being shown live on other channels.

Fudge Sky is absolute garbage.

That's not SKY NZ doing that though. It's that PC lot in the UK insisting we would enjoy seeing all the goals "Live" from around the EPL. You are right, it is annoying just like the McDonald's banner that haunts the A League games.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

It is Sky, as they are picking and choosing which feed they take.

There's been times in the past where they're had a both the game with Goal Rush and then the same game. Different commentators and no cutting away.

Lads just get a firestick and a VPN.

Don't give Sky the time of day.

Three for me, and two for them.

Been at war with Sky this morning.

Apparently I'm " the only one that has come through about this" and that they "had other customers asking for the Goal Rush".

Feel free to let them know otherwise -> https://www.facebook.com/skysportnz/

I emailed them about it, so that's a straight up lie.

Right?

I don't know who could possibly enjoy it. Maybe casual fans - but what casual fans are up at 2am - 4am watching football?

Just absolutely crazy rationale.

Goal rush is the fudgeing worst. Your heart sinks if your team is playing the same time as multiple other games.
Wouldn't mind so much if they showed a goal during a stoppage in the game I'  trying to watch. But it's the showing 10 replays of a shot going into row Z, or 5 minutes showing a yellow card on the halfway line in some other game that makes you want to punch a hole in your TV.

Goal rush is great if your team isn’t playing and/or you want to have it on in the background of something else. It’s great for its own purposes.

But there’s no way they should be showing goal rush without an alternative way to watch the key game. It’s not a broadcast of a game and it’s an insult to fans to imply it is.

Yep... and cutting away is one thing, literally forcing me to watch the game on 75% of the screen before of the massive side bar is something else.

Especially watching on a laptop, starts the shrink the actual game screen size to tablet territory.

Lol I’ve watched so much on a phone screen for 5 years that a tablet or a laptop would be huge.
But yeh, it’s for convenience not football. Most of the apps I’ve had here- and that’s 4-5 with Euros and a few other things- have a transparent watermark and minimalist controls which fade after a few seconds. Most places design to maximize screen size.
