They pretty much have. Can you see them being caught?

Three for me, and two for them.

Man Utd had the league won a long long time ago.  they can get a maximum of 98 points this season and liverpool/chelsea can only get a max of 88.

Manchester United have only dropped 16 points this season (lpool and chelsea have dropped 26) so they can probably afford to drop 16 more points in their next 11 games and still win the league. let's face it they arent going to lose 2 and draw 5 of their next 11 so this BBC fellow is probably even a bit late making this pick, it's been obvious for a while now.

Way to burst our bubble...

exact same thing happened to us last year, United are just too consistent around this time of year when the other title contenders drop silly points and pick up injuries.  You guys will probably break 80 points which should be enough to mount a serious title challenge but in this day and age it comes down more so to United dropping points than the other teams gaining them.

I don't think anyone should really say its United's already. Tiredness could quite easily catch up to them.

I hope so! However I just don't see it happening. Even their worst players play well! I really cant see anyone catching up to them. Even if we beat them at OT, its still gonna take a minor miracle for us to beat them to the title. Bloody Mancs! They could win everything!!

On another note, seem like Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber are trying to f*ck up the sale of the club as much as they possibly can.

Hate to think what might happen if the Banks come knocking and these f*ckwits are still in charge...

Rafa is holding this entire club together.

Man, we're all over Real. Got this in the bag, going to be interesting to see the result of the games tomorrow to see who we'll draw...

On the prem front, a must win game on the weekend. If we beat Scum it should hopefully give the team the boost it needs to realise that it's all in their hands.

Really need to be dominating matches in the Prem the way we're dominating Real atm. Really frustrating to see the potential we've got compared to some of the performances we've come up with in the League.

Steady, stable Gerrard/Torres combo is the key for us I reckon. Really missed Torres this season...

edit: Man, what an absolute spanking. Hope we can pull off the same kind of performance come the weekend...

Best performance of the season. Let's hope we can back it up this weekend. We may be a two man team but when we are on they are almost impossible to stop.

Brilliant performance, imagine if Casillas was not on form, it could have been even more. Every player outstanding. Thought we would've had the most lopsided match today but Bayern put 7 past Sporting.

But need to step up on the weekend too, nothing but a win needed.

... especially when they wear the grey shirts with red shorts. It looked like they had forgotten to get dressed in the morning.

Great game this morning. Pity I had to work and missed it live, then ESPN f**ked up and cut half the game (including Gerrards goal in the second half) to fit in before f**king Billiards. f**king w**kers. But at least Tommy with a Whine wasn't commentating. That would have REALLY pissed me off.

I imagine the strip will be in colours like that seeing as it's the same colour scheme as the new tracksuits and training kits

I reckon it looks pretty sweet

Linds I reckon that strip looks awesome, I'll be getting a shirt to add to my collection of Liverpool shirts.

Our performance is like in the old CM (FM) when the media has "Liverpool's performance is a statement to the rest of Europe".  Uli Hoeness wants to avoid us and that's it.

To be honest I missed the news of Bayern winning 5-0 in the first leg, meaning I didn't know about it 'til this week, but seeing the result of 7-1 (12-1 Agg) I have to say they should be contenders. Their team seems relatively unchanged to previous seasons. Van Buyten, Lucio, Lahm, Van Bommel, Schweinsteiger, Ze Roberto, Podolski, Klose... but key new additions in Toni (who I have never been impressed with), Ribery (probably key for them) and a new keeper in Butt.

But who would you want to draw on Fri/Sat 20/21
Barcelona, Villarreal, Porto, Bayern, Man U, Chelski, Arsenal.

have recently played Barca, Chelsea and Arsenal in CL. Villarreal and Porto would be considered easier fixtures.

What kits you got? First kit I got was a:
1996-98 home top
2000-02 Home kit
2002-04 Home one 10 Owen
2002-04 also home 17 Gerrard
2004-06 Home Champions League Final
2006-08 Home Torres 9

Actually got a few fakes as well, from various gifts and my Champions League final one is a fake albeit a very high quality. Plus a couple England tops, an Ajax one and a Juve one also given a Inter one somewhere

Should get an away top sometime, and black is always good.

Porto. Why is it that we can be so good in Europe but not half as good in the EPL? I like the new black strip too

Haha, no doubt. Then again, I'm not much of a fan of that terrible yellow Chelsea and Everton (?) and Wigan have...

The Real game was superb. Absolutely superb. Words cant describe gow great that performance was! We destroyed them! They really only had a few chances when we were 3-0 up and eased off. I'm so pleased for Spearing- 20 minutes against Real Madrid when we're 3-0 up! And all the fans singing his name, coming on for Gerrard, he must have loved it.

That was the ultimate team performance. Monster was incredible. So so so so happy for Torres to have scored! Showing the Real fans his shirt was class.

And what was with that guy with the Everton scarf with the Real fans?

As has been said earlier, its so frustrating when we play so well like that, and yet fail to beat Boro, Stoke, West Ham etc. Missing Torres has been key and I'm surprised we were up there for so long. The game against the Mancs is crucial to keep any (albeit slim) chances for the title alive. Literally, a must win.

I'm starting to get a soft spot for Torres ever since he scored against me in Fifa. :(

I think I've got about 6 or 7 official shirts and a few retro 1970's liverpool ones, I never get names on the back. My most recent ones are the Champions League home shirt for this season and the black away shirt from last season (Or is it this season? not sure).

I'm really looking forward to the Pool vs Scum game, its gonna be an absolute cracker, I reckon Rafa must be tempted to put out exactly the same side, although the decision between Riera & Babel on the left will be tough.

Those Man U spectators are classic.  One's giving the fingers and there are two taking photos.  They need to make up their minds.
