How come? We were out anyway, and our luck/ performances are so sh*t what else did you expect? Besides, it wasn't exactly our first team or like we had anything to play for.

Laugh all you like, WE'LL BE RUNNING AROUND HAMBURG WITH THE CUP!!!!

Doubt it. I could name at least 5 teams in the Europa League better than you.

Three for me, and two for them.

Maybe not by the time we've sorted some form out and by the time all this bad luck starts evening itself out...

Seriously though, at what point does Rafa's position come under scrutiny? Surely if we lose at the Gooners, the pressure will be on?

If we beat you at Anfield, surely Rafa has to go?

Not in my books. Not that it counts for much though, I guess. Rafa's influence over this club isn't just the first team. He has transformed us, and tried to bring us up to scratch with the modern maketing etc, albeit without the funds. Some promising players coming up. In Rafa We Trust!!!

When managers aren't expected to provide instant / constant results, eventually the results do come.

Yes Chelsea, this is a stab at you.

Thought Pacheco looked good when he came on yesterday - reckon he's got a bit of Fowler about him - clinical finisher and all that.  Maybe rafa will give him a run out on Sunday.....we all know how Robbie performed against the arse....

Dani is class, mate. Similar to Yossi, but loads younger. Has been playing midfield for the reserves this season a little bit.

Epic 6-6 draw coming up I think. Torres to knock home 5 and Reina to score from his box. Then Arshavin to get 3, Fabregas 2 and Eboue to score from his own half to tie it up in the 8th minute of stoppage time.

You heard it here first.

From BBC. 13 points from first place, 13 points from 20th........also did you see Mark Lawrensons preview of the game? He thought Liverpool has 1 game plan based around Torres and Stevie G and there is no plan B. He thought Rafa didn't know what he was doing.....further rumours are that it would cost Liverpool a huge amount of $ to fire Rafa so they are unlikely to do it....what a great start to the week.

He is an absolute shocker isn't he, going to ground all the fucking time. No wonder refs don't ever take him seriously.

Get f**ked. Seriously. f**k off.

And why did I get singled out????!!!!

We were superb first half. But, back to our best in the second half... Pretty toothless to put it nicely!!

There was one time where he was looking for a foul before he even ran past Song.

Nonce.

1. It wasn't clear.

2. Captain Fantastic milked it for all it's worth.

3. A more honest player may well of won a penalty in that situation.

Three for me, and two for them.

It was clear. You can't just clatter into a player when the ball is elsewhere. Milking it or not. Not that it would have helped us win, anyway.

He didn't clatter into him though did he. Gallas stood his ground and after imitating Dirk Kite's first touch Captain Fantastic decided to pull out one of his favourite party tricks. Howard Webb wasn't amused and promptly told the Anfield superhero to "Get the f**k up you bellend"

Three for me, and two for them.

Meh. It was a penalty. I don't care that he probably wasn't getting the ball- you see penalty's every second week where the player is nowhere the ball and never getting to it. Gallas stood his ground?! What?! He slid in, missed the ball and collected Stevie. Webb is a c**t, anyhow.

I'm just gutted my 6-6 prediction didn't come through.

Nice goal from Arshavin.

You boys jumping all over Rooney and friends too after his fall in the box against Villa?
Gerrard's was legit. Penalty. I'll say no more.

We were all over them in the first half, lost the plot in the second. Rough night.

I read somewhere that after Rooney's tumble against Arsenal at OT earlier this year, the ref's were told not to award penalties when the player punts the ball away and then runs deliberately into a challenge, i.e aren't playing the ball but are playing for a foul. Now, based on that  you would have to say it was a fair call.
