What about the "goal" that Wigan had disallowed - general concensus (from all the but the most biased Utd fans) was that it was a legitimate goal that should have stood. Caldwell stood his ground - didn't obstruct the keeper, didn't back into the keeper, and it happens at every corner in every game.
I think that Utd fans stating that the Wigan goal came from a corner that should not have been as proof that the get bad decisions as well is pretty rich. If we are starting to claim that incorrect throw-ins and corner are deciding games, we are getting pretty desperate.
Bottom line is that Utd have struggled at Blackburn, and struggled at Wigan. Everton the next home game is a tough one, and Sunderland and City still to play away are both games that ensure that the title race is not over now. If Citeh win at Norwich, then I would say that the momentum would be with them.
