I just don't understand why you'd do what Nick Pope did at 2-0 down. Madness.

And he now misses a cup final because of it.

Finally parts of the goal scoring machine started working!
Isak had a strong game with a nice goal from a precision Trippier assist. Even while Bruno and Willock kept up the team form with misses in the six yard box, Almiron hit a sweet goal reminiscent of the ones he was scoring on his earlier scoring run. 
3 points despite a Pope/Trippier misunderstanding gifting a goal.

I guess the Nix shouldn’t worry. Newcastle a clear indicator that a good team will create a LOT of chances and they just need to keep going until they put them away! 

22 shots v 4 against. Smashed em. I’m even beginning to believe in Murphy. Howe for Nix.
