yeah i have to agree about Willy, i gotta say i did have my doubts about him as captain but he has come thur pretty good so far, Bendtner need to pull his head in and not be a anelka. He has all the skill required to be an arsenal legend but it the mental part that sets apart the good from the great

Good move imo. He's terrible on the wing and we have enough strike power upfront with Ade, Eduardo, Bendtner, possibly RvP if he's back in time, and we can always revert to 4-5-1 with Hleb roving if injuries hit home hard.

yea thats the truth, he is very far out of depth at the moment and if he is placed up front for a lower tier prem side that will do the world of good for him.

here is a clip of the headbutt, as i didnt see the game i was intrigued to see what the fuss was, and here it is:

EPL game against newcastle has delayed coverage at 11am on wednesday so i just won't find out the result and then watch it like its live, its just as good but at a more decent hour.

And by the way do you actually think you will beat Everton or (more likely) chelsea next month?

Frankly, that was our final!

Beating Arsenal is more important than finally using that trophy cabinet of yours?

just speculation, but word of theo going out on a loan for rest of the season..

not going to comment, just yet.

Looks like Stoke want to get him but I doubt he'll want to drop down to the Championship.

yeah, that would not be the smartest move. He needs to improve at the premiership level not vice versa.

i agree with loan move but if he doesnt cut the mustard at loan then what are we going to do with him???

yeah i know just feel like he's been around for ages without doing too much. as for the ade and bend drama;" The first thing Adebayor said to Bendtner was 'I'm only on because you are so s**t'." man cant wait for us to smash newcastle twice in a row to get all the bad press off our back. This is a very testing time for us

Awesome!

Ade doesn't seem like that sort of guy.

Is Arsene going to put out a full strength side against Newcastle this weekend?

He better after the Tottenham debacle...

yea but the reserves have already beaten newcastle once this season.

on soccernet.com there is a poll with the question "is arsenal's defeat to tottenham the start of their downfall this season?"   and 39% said yes, wtf? man u lost to coventry! surely that is more of a sign on a downfall than our reserves losing to tottenham.

It's ridiculous how hysterical the media get after one bad result.

haha i think all this crap is great. we started the season under the most adversity after (we all know what) and got into the league campaign with a hiss and a roar. Further into the season when we were getting all the praise in the world we started being complacent and the results showed this. Now, hopefully this re-sparks that hunger in the team as it did pre-season.

Bring on the over hyped media insanity!

Maybe it's because it's 230 in the morning but I can't stop LOLing at this Eboue video.

What's his name?

Well, i tried to stay up for the game, too many late nights recently meant that i failed quite miserably. So i caught a glimpse of the highlights this morning and Adebayor's two goals were both superb in their own way. The first because of the strength and close control he showed in the box and the second because i have never seen him dribble so well in his life.

Three for me, and two for them.

I woke up at 130am on the couch after a very heavy day at the races so figured I'd stay up for the match.

Highlights: Ade's goals, Clichy's runs down the flank (sh*t he's fast), CB pairing looked solid (maybe it's just relative to last game's debacle?).

Lowlights: Walcott was terrible, especially in the first half, Rosicky went off injured after about 9 minutes, Diaby was ass apart from one good shot.

yea i think clichy is such a valuable player. the forementioned runs are quite amazing as are sagna's but both of those two are also very very solid defenders. i would think in a few years when sagnol and abidal are off those two will be the full backs for france.
both of adebayors goals were just awesome, i don't know which one i like best, a perfectly placed curling shot with his weak foot or the maradona-esque run.

oh and flamini doesnt get mentioned alot but he made 5 or 6 slide tackles and won the ball every time, cesc also made a couple. good to see midfielders doing what theyre supposed to instead of throwing themselves to the ground whenever an opposition player comes within a metre.

Great. Kolo Toure carried off on a stretcher in Ivory Coast 4-1 win against Benin.

Hopefully it puts him out of the tournament and he can return home.

I would definatley prefer our medical team looking after him than anybody else. If we can keep players like Hleb and Rosicky on the field more often than not, they should be able to work miracles for someone as hard as Toure

After a night out Cashley vomited in someone's car and claimed that they should feel privileged, then cheated on his wife with some slapper, which included vomiting during sex. The slapper also said that Cashley was violent in bed and had a small cock.
