Pretty much certain Sky aren't showing it which comes as no surprise. Victory v Sydney replay, Rovers v Boro and Eurosportnews are on at the gametime. I guess there was no real chance anyway.

Just got back from Napier, and found out the result. A bit disappointed at 0-0 but I guess we can't win them all. . Next derby 31 Jan.

Just had a look now, some good pictures, mainly of QPR players on the ball but some good goal mouth ones.

some great ones also on the Reading website as well - including interesting shots of the Jimmy Kebe penalty shout.

Are Burnley supporters allowed on this thread?

Actually, glad to have gotten Reading out of the way, as you will surely be there or threabouts at the the end of the season.

Dunno them being alloaed on anymore. Aparently Coppell is irate as the belief was that Reading totally dominated most of the game and SHOULD have won. Of course should doesnt mean they had to....

Gotta sort out of defence, dont think Ingimarison is up to it anymore amd definitley not up to Premiership standard

6-1-0 record at home and 21 goals scored and only 4 conceded. Going by that record we should notch up another good win against Derby County on Saturday.

Kevin Doyle just signed a new contract confirmed his intention to fire Reading into the Premiership. Better news than whatever their result may be this weekend!

3-0 at home over Derby. Our brilliant home record continues. Still 3rd, 1 behind Birmingham and 7 behind Wolves.

Sounding like a broken needle, but I think you guys will be one on the automatic spots.  Best team in the league according to all my Burnley contacts.  Big question is about the second spot.  We (Burnley) have serious designs upon it, buit there is the small matter of Wolves and Birmingham.

What's the view in Reading as to who the big threats are?  Just Wolves & Brum, or are there others that you biscuitmen rate?

First home loss of the season to Saints. 2-1. Very very disappointing, now we are 10 points off the lead.

Not as bad as our result V Twatford. Mind you our Formula One owner is interferring with team selections. Trying to do a Ron Noades and like him, failing miserably as our results this month have shown.

Hope he doesnt do a Michael Knighton at Carlisle - sacked the manager, picked the team himself and got the club relegated and nearly bankrupt (and thats not mentioning about him and Man U lol....)

I think he is. Just because he's rich, he thinks he can pick the team. At least Coppell is left alone to do his rightful job. Good to see you guys up there abouts. I think Wolves will fold and Birmingham are certs to go up. The rest is a bun fight.

I know many Reading fans, especially the ones that have just 'rediscovered the team' (amazing how many Chelsea fans there were in Reading pre 2004) are very critical of John Madejski for not writing out massive cheques.

However I think he is prob one of the best Chairman/owners there is. He has transfromed the infrastructure of the club (stadium, youth set up), made it self-sufficient by refusing to pay silly money and placed faith in the manager. and the director of football Nicky Hammond (who is very quiet, unlike most egos in that kind of role.)

Excellent job on Wolves, i hope we spoil your party as we really need the points to stay in touch with 3,4,5 & 6 placed teams. Regardless of who wins, supporters of  hoops of blue and white are winners

0-0 stalemate in the derby overnight.

I can live with that, we have a few good youngsters in the backline at the moment and 0-0 away from home in what is always a tough game is not bad!

On the hoops thing, I had to laugh a few years when the Auckland Blues felt they had to change their super12 strip because it has vertical stipes and made them look too much like 'a soccer team'

dont thay know the NPC team are copying us too?????

So, we require a win over Birmingham and then hope Sheffield lose in the final game. Exciting final round.

I'd back you for the former, not sure about the latter. With Colin in charge of Palace, who knows what will happen.

We (Burnley) would much rather see Reading get automatic promotion Brum & Sheff Utd would be much more preferable in the play-offs (fingers crossed).
