Go for the draw? How very Scottish of you.

Three for me, and two for them.

Small steps, Buff. Small steps. :-)

Such a shame losing on a injury time goal. They'll probably get smashed at home now !

Hibs up to 2nd in the SPL after destroying Motherwell 4-0 away from home...looking good.

Saw a bunch of Celtic lads in town today. Accents thick as anything and pissed as owls at about 3 in the afternoon. Would have been a great day!

08 Nov 09:13

Celtic only won 2-1 vs Barca? Were Celtic playing their reserve team or what? Probably saving themselves for big match against St Johnstone this weekend. Bring it on Europe, who else you got?

awesome stats right there.

But shows barca's definiciencies in front of goal if they only had that many attempts with that much ball

Stats on the BBC site weren't quite as one-sided as that.

Anyone seen the details of Scottish Football for 2013/14...confusing...I tried to explain it to friends and think I ended up more confused :P

There will be three professional divisions as opposed to four currently, made of SPL1 12 TEAMS, SPL2 12 TEAMS & National 18 teams. The top two divisions will play home & away for 22 games eac and then will split, into a top 8, a middle 8 (bottom 4 from Prem 1 + top 4 from Prem 2), and a bottom 8, and then play home & away again for  another 14 games. the Top 8 will contest the Championship & the Euro spots, The middle 8 fight for Promotion relegation, 4 stay in SPL1, 4 in SPL2, and the bottom 8 will play to avoid relegation to the National.
No decision on how many will be relegated to the National, or whether points would be carried forward to the split divisions, or about discussion around re4legation/promotion to the National division...
Some points to note I found on a Rangers forum...
1. The 12 teams who start SPL 2 next season (all of div.1 plus Queen of the South and Alloa) will play for no championship at any time. The top 4 will lose all the points they earned after 22 games, along with the bottom 4 in SPL 1, and will fight it out for the right to play in SPL 1 the following season. Now the filth are running away with the SPL this season, as are we in div 3 and Queen of the South in Div. 2, but Dunfermline, Morton and Partick are locked in a 3 way charge for the Div. 1 title. The point is all of these teams are playing for actual league championships. The 12 teams that make up SPL 2 next season and each season thereafter will play for no championship at all and the ironic thing is they are proposing to call it 'The Championship'
2. Falkirk and Livingston, currently mid table in Div. 1 but could yet go on a run that would see them promotion contenders for the top league, would next season find themselves fighting to avoid relegation to the bottom league.
3. Whoever finishes 2nd in Division 3 this season (let's say Queens Park as they're 2nd just now) will play off at the end of this season against whoever finishes 2nd bottom in Division 2 (currently Stranraer). If Queens Park win they will start next season in the bottom tier of Scottish football, which is where they are now. Should Stranraer win they will find themselves..................in the bottom tier of Scottish football as well.

4. The Division 2 play off will be just as meaningless, as the top two will join the ten currently in Div. 1 to play in the Championshipless 'Championship'. Indeed, this could be the last time Partick, Morton and Dunfermline ever get to play for an actual championship, as they'll never be good enough to get near winning SPL 1, but too good to be relegated to the national league, the only other league that has an actual championship to be won

Still has to go to a vote of the clubs (minus Rangers, as an Associate Member they have no vote) and 11/12 Prem Clubs + 22/29 Football League clubs most support it. Also the team alignments will be Current 12 Prem

SPL1 (Prem) - 12 Current Prem teams

SPL2 (champ) - 10 Current Div 1 teams + Top 2 Div 2 teams

National - Remaining 18 teams (Meaning even if Rangers win the league they will be in bottom level)

And quite right too "The Rangers "as the new club or franchise is called are lucky to even be playing in any league whatsoever and it's only  because the rules were bent by the incompetent clowns that run Scottish football  that allowed  them in as non voting associate members to the lowest level of Scottish football the  3rd divison! they should count themselves lucky and stop whinging and playing victim to anyone daft enough to listen !

Orlit Enterprises, based in Singapore, is seeking to petition the Scottish Court for a winding-up order against Rangers. Sources close to this legal action have spoken exclusively to Channel 4 News today.

This claim arises from the club’s alleged failure to pay two of the four invoices issued by Orlit. The outstanding sum is £400,000.

The source has clarified to Channel 4 News that Orlit Enterprises was contracted to source and introduce the investors who provided seed capital in order to acquire the club from the administrator and to secure the June 2012 payroll.

Orlit did not participate in either the pre-IPO equity fundraising or the IPO itself.

My sources indicated to me that there has been no satisfactory answer from the club as to its non-payment despite several requests. In the circumstances, the application for a winding-up order of the Rangers Football Club Limited – being the trading company obliged to pay the debt – is, my sources say, their only option left. Sources close to Orlit say they now have no other option than to embark upon winding up proceedings.

[UPDATE AT 18.24 BELOW]

Despite our best efforts it took Rangers several hours to respond to today’s developments. The club has just issued the following statement:

“With regard to stories circulating about Rangers and Orlit, the sums sought are insignificant and agreement has been reached subject to the necessary paperwork.

“Rangers Football Club is capable of meeting any debts presented legitimately and we would like to stress to our supporters there is no threat to the Club whatsoever.”

Celtic got violated.

Was hoping for more of a contest than that, oh well.

Let the comeback begin.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Apparently they played well, just got picked off by a professional (and apparently cynical) Juventus team.

They did play pretty well, however, big ask to put 4 past Juventus and either win or draw..

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

13 Feb 02:19

Not gonna happen, but hopefully they'll put in a performance which gives them some pride back at least.

Hearts go into adminstration

Bye bye Jam Tarts

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

18 Jun 22:46

Aye. Its barely raised an eyebrow here. Mixed feelings on this. Got a couple of good Jambo mates and don't want them going through what I went through and definately no good for Scottish Football. Used to think hearts and Rangers were brothers in arms but after the 800 page thread on kickback slagging us, and the "H**s are going bust" banner at Ibrox, I think Karma is a beautiful thing. Two questions though

Where is Kiwi Jambo?

And how come he is so quiet on his own clubs demise?

scottish league have announced opening weekend tv fixtures

Where am I ?,well not spending as much time on Kickback as you obviously are !maybe you should look at increasing your  huge YF post total !

As for the Lochend Brazil- Sevco romance ,geez a break that's  hilarious yi must both be desperate fur pals ?

Seriously though our "demise " isn't quite as complete as the former club you used to support ,true we are in administration and  obviously  from a jambo perspective it's  a very difficult time indeed but at this point in time unlike you lot  we still exist and I'm quietly confident with new owners and our superb fan base  the patient will make a full recovery .

The tax bill that broke the camels back at Tynecastle was 100,000GBP compared to the 13 million+GBP owed to her Majesty's Government  (love that irony) by Whyte and the rest of the mob  running or should that be robbing  Castle Grey Skull ,that's  pretty small beer by comparison , maybe you should compare apples wi apples instead of just seeing one big rotten orange !

If anything good is to come out of all this it will be the final severing of any lingering doubts  that  Hearts fans owe some loyalty to the fans of the former Glasgow club ,a loyalty based on some quasi  historical and religious misconceptions  ,we have moved on from the Jurassic park bigotry of the past (as I hasten to add have most Hibs fans ) it's only the you lot and the other ugly sister (the  one that's still alive and writhing) that continue to perpetuate the ridiculous divides that do nothing to enhance Scottish football's reputation abroad

Anyway I'll let you get back to JKB for a little more seething

Yeah KJ i know its only administration.... at the moment....so here's some tips to get out of the cart...

Find a consortium that can see the value in the Brand, Support Base and assets. What, Mad Vlad put Tynecastle up as security..?

Nevermind, nevermind... Raise 15 Million pound in a share issue...eh.. yeah... the pub quiz night and "save our Hearts'' scarves is a really good start.

Sell 45 - 50k tickets to every home game... oops sorry forgot you might not have a stadium and you'll only cram a few thousand into the newTescos. Well.. How about your own TV channel.. great revenue stream..all games streaming around the world. Umm, no, re runs of your 2012 Scottish cup victory down the legion is just not going to cut it...

Thinking, thinking...
