For you guys this is the most important game for 8 years 11 months and 26 days.

And we did it.

A little flat after 8mins...but it picked up!!
Plenty go happy Gooners at the full time whistle and very happy watching that trophy get hoisted.
Afterglow starting to wear off, time for bacon.

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

Awesome game, awesome result (c'mon, we were never gonna do it the easy way).

Thanks again to Paulm and the BB team - was great to watch it somewhere with a little more atmosphere than my living room (and better service lol).

What an amazing result this morning!!!

I mean if you told me Atletico would win the title on the final day of the season at Camp Nou, I would have never believed you.  ;o)

a win is a win but game showed (again) real issues with either how we set up or how we focus. (probably both)

needed subs earlier and probably should have won by 4 inside the 90Mins. The Gibbs miss was terrible and I felt the ref missed 2 clear penalties.

anyway that's 11 Cups and 5 with Wenger. Great stuff.

Do you think the British media and all Arsenal knockers will start a new countdown to mention during every game now? "It's been 8 and three quarter hours since Arsenal last won a trophy" doesn't quite sound the same. :)

Not sure if it was necessarily Sanogo that changed the game but the formation certainly helped. We were piling on much more pressure once the change was made.

Edit: I guess you could argue that it was Hull tiring after 60 mins but I think the formation change did help.

Is the Gerrard a new addition? lol

The ref was very poor I thought. At least two challenges from Hull players should have seen yellows in the first half, the chop down of Cazorla in the box was as clear a penalty as you will see and the hand ball from the Hull player was pretty clear too I thought.

Not managed to get online since the game. Thanks so much to Ubergunner and the BB for organising that. Was a memorable occasion to have been amongst fellow fans instead of on my own at home. Attempted to get a few hours sleep in last night before heading in but couldn't shut my mind off and only managed about an hour. Arrived around 3.25 and there didn't seem to be any sign of anyone so sat in the car for nearly 10 minutes until I decided to have a closer look and discovered the side entrance and bar around the back! Hadn't been there before so just saw it looked all closed from the front.

The start was horrible. Just went so quiet and depressed when they scored the 2nd. Thought we were gone, yet another big game bottled and lost in the first 15 minutes. And it would have been had Gibbs not kept that header out. That was 3-0 and game over. Then what a strike from Cazorla and what a time to pull that out! The mood completely changed and could feel everyone thought we had a chance again, and getting strangled, hugged and high fived in celebrations by people I barely knew was pretty special. Given that situation that's our goal of the season for me. Then again for the equaliser. Unbelievable miss from Gibbs had us all stunned and then finally one of Ramsey's shots went in and we were nearly there. There was still time for the obligatory Fabianski mad 50 yard rush to leave the goal open for the 3rd time in big FA Cup matches at Wembley, but thankfully like against Wigan it didn't cost us. Then finally we all exploded at the final whistle, more high fives and tears etc. But then the atmosphere was really solemn. More relief than anything else that the wait was finally over.

For the most part that game was an absolute nightmare. Far from the party we all hoped for. It was never going to be easy was it? But worth the reward in the end.

The BB posted this photo from the final whistle on Facebook. I'm 3rd from the right in the 2009 jacket and shirt.

Reports coming out about Milner. Hmmmmm... another Arteta-type conversion presumably. Would rather a Martinez or S Bender but...

Also, Aurier sounds like the offer has been accepted and personal terms being sorted. The optimist in me hopes that means Jenks is going to have a year on loan. The realist in me appreciated it more likely means BacSag is goneski. Aurier looks the biz tho!

So the backbencher was pretty sweet - well from when Cazorla scored anyway!

Must agree with ajc28 that the Cazorla goal got the biggest raucous, I think just out of relief that we were back in it. We really needed something there, Santi stood up big time for us.

Bit of a shame there was no real meet and greets or anything but it was tough not knowing if people were from here or just randoms, so I was a little reluctant to just start asking people! Goof and myself met Ubergunner and Gooner4Life at the end, and we were also sitting with BlackHawkTarantulaWasp, but I didn't really know who anyone else was to be honest.

I mostly remember what shirts were floating around though.

Ubergunner was in 2005/06 home Bergkamp

Goofy666 was wearing the same.

I was in 2013/14 home Giroud.

BHTWasp was in 2005 blue away I think, can't remember what name on the back.

Gooner4Life was in 2013/14 home Ramsey in the cup font.

Ajc28 I am guessing you were the guy we met outside as we walked in... with the Arsenal zip up top on.

Heaps of good shirts in there though, good to see gooners galore!

Absolutely appalled (but not surprised) to hear the "Hull Clapper" was actually a ManU fan.

I got there a bit later than expected due to car issues. Finding the car had sh*t itself at 3-30am wasn't the ideal start but I managed to get a ride in and sat up the front with Ubergunner as I've met him before. Forgot to ask who the other guy was at our table but he had a brilliant 1989 tracksuit top on which was made famous at that Anfield game.
Was good to meet Paulm and Goofy after the final whistle.
I was tempted a number of times to tell the United fan where he could go but he went pretty quiet at the end.

Hopefully there will be many more occasions in the future for a repeat of this.
Someone did pat me on the back in reference to my shirt after Rambo scored the winner. Was it anyone on here?

Yep that was me. Agree it's a shame there wasn't any kind of meet up beforehand and it felt a bit weird to go around asking people if they were from here. Luckily a guy I kind of knew (as in he had filled in for my own team a couple of times last year but I didn't know him outside of that), although didn't know was an Arsenal fan, turned up with a mate and came and sat with me. The United fan seemed to be a friend of their's and turned up a bit later.

'Twas nice to see some good looking burds hanging out with us Goons!  Fair play as it seemed a couple of 'em had been dragged out of the scratcher to come down to the BB to drink coffee/juice at 3.30am!!  Them be keepers lads...

Some Gooners were certainly worse for wear for being in town and getting a few scoops in beforehand!  Ooooft, I can only think how the rest of their Sundays went!  Mine, without a skinload of booze, was a struggle:  at the zoo for 9.30am with my 2yo daughter and then finished my pizza oven building in the arvo.  In me scratcher for about 8.45pm.  Lights oot!

And the young chap at the back of the BB?  Crikey he was a nervous Nigel.  And he made me edgy as feck!  Good banter all 'round though.

I wasn't too bad considering I only managed a hour of sleep beforehand. Was buzzing too much from winning I guess. Went home for breakfast and was then out for most of the day and had a 2 hour nap when I got home about 4pm and that seemed to sort me out. If we'd lost it would have miserable and I probably would have gone home and gone to bed and not got up till the afternoon.
