Outstanding G4L.

Despite calling out Cole/RVP I think you've done extremely well with name selection. You seem to have hit right on with players who were the best or one of the best players of the year in the season that they are printed on. So many names, only two regrets, really good effort.

I have a couple of regrets amongst a much smaller total number!

Brilliant collection. I don't get it every season like that but off the top of my head have 01-02, 02-03, 03-04, 05-06 (maroon), 07-08, 08-09, 14-15 home shirts and 03-04 away and 14-15 away.

Best 11 for me started today. When was the last time we got to do that the match after international break? Good pace to the game, Watford putting up a good front. Both sides look capable of creating a chance.

Watford are being super firm and mostly fair. Referee keeps letting them away with it. Capoue's just brushed his hand across Sanchez's face, borderline slap. Brief chat & no card...on the fence about whether or not things like that should be dealt with in a tougher format.

This is a good 2nd half. Watford are playing really well. I don't think one goal is going to be enough to win this.

Good to see both Giroud & Ramsey scoring, and that the Walcott for Giroud sub was a 2 goal substitute! Thought when Gomez cleared out Sanchez it was a clear cut foul, penalty, and red card given Sanchez was through past both keeper & CB.

Also nice to be only 2 points off first. GD keeping us above Man U. Also our winger is currently second equal with Aguero with 6 goals, our back up striker has 4 goals, and our man leading the line also has 4 goals. Cannot wait to see how the guys get up for midweek.

I honestly wouldn't care all that much if we get knocked out of the Champs. There is no chance we'll win it anyway; but getting knocked out would increase our chances in the Prem imo.

It's not really feasible to purposely lose, so we're given no choice but to go balls out, probably resulting in 3rd and a nightmarish europa league schedule.

Europa League would be a nightmare. Can you just send the reserves?

What're the variables for getting out of group and getting 3rd?

I think we will fudge Bayern up in the morning then still not qualify:)

4th is better than 3rd if England only want 3 CL spots ...

Ramsey out for a while probably though, looked like a hammy, or could be his thigh again, either way it looked like it blew out properly, not just a tweak.

Wilshere due back very shortly, that will be timely. In the meantime the Ox will get his chance.

Not at all. Some great saves in there. Neuer too, but then he f*cked up for the first goal.

Yeah that was an incredible result, and to be honest - probably the only way to beat this team at the moment. Ride your luck and hit them on the break. Ozil will be stoked to have scored that goal, but that was all Bellerin.

Neuer is amazing. How he stopped Theo's header and got to ozils goal I'll never know. Other than them floating between our lines in the first half I think that was a really dominant performance from us. The likes of which I don't think we have seen in a while. The back 4 were solid, bellerin was outstanding. Le Coq was Le Coq Ox came on and was full of running as always. And then we got that goals!!!!

It was a great performance.

Typically for a Pep team they dominated the ball, it was never going to be any different, but we looked just as dangerous as they did, I'm surprised we didn't score in the first half from one of those counter attacks, we were so quick and had 3 on 3's etc with regularity. We ended up with two more shots on target than them, which was the difference really - those were the goals.

Cech was outstanding, shaded Neuer in the end, which is unbelievable really. They were both awesome but Neuer f*cked up when it counted.

You getting carried away. Bayern had 70% possession. Giroud got lucky.

Ok. Yea maybe over excited there. I mean yea Bayern had the ball a lot. But didn't look overly dangerous with it. We were well organised and prepared for what they were going to bring. I'd go as far as saying Wenger got his tactics right for a European match. Which is a bit rare. Yea we go lucky with girouds goal. But to have a ball delivered which unsettled the best keeper in the world into making a mistake. I think that needs some credit.

Bayern looked very leaky on the counter, we should've had one or two in the first half.

Their possession statistic means nothing when we matched them for shots on goal. Neuer conceded twice as well as making the best save in the game.

Wow. Watched most of the first half before work and we looked all right.  Pretty stoked to check my phone and see we won. Our performances of late have been excellent. Not daring to dream just yet but things are looking up.
Walcott up front has be amazing , agreed with the commentator who said that he's now a proper striker/centre foward.
