Nigeria didn't qualify, yes Iwobi plays for them. Think England missed a trick there.

Astonishing goal. Has to be up there amongst our best Premier League goals with Bergkamp vs Leicester and Newcastle, Henry vs United and Liverpool, Wilshere vs Norwich. Can't think of many others that would come close. Love the comment from Wenger that it will forever be known as "the Giroud goal." Typically Ian Wright and Danny Murphy couldn't wait to tell us why Mkhitaryan's was better at half time.

Their reasoning was totally bogus as well, I'd say Giroud's was better any day... although I am biased ;)

Mikhitaryan's had more power just because the cross was lower and harder, that energy transferred to the shot. The cross Giroud had to work with was just a chip really, there was no way he could have added further power to it.

Plus he was not offside, and the shot went in off the underside of the bar, which I personally always love.

Ian Wright said it was the best Arsenal goal he's ever seen. That's pretty high praise.

Rambo, le coq and musf back in the side

Ox on the bench

no sign of Ozil, I think he is still down with the flu.

love the late kick off while being on holiday!

Ramsey needs to earn his money today. He'll never start ahead of Ozil and maybe Iwobi is better than him @#10

Going to be a tough game a draw is no good.

Mental comeback. Makes me wonder why we fudgeed ourselves over in the first 70.

Three for me, and two for them.

Well done Bournemouth, gave it a real go. Be great for them to get a European run next season.

Christ we are terrible

Another scramble for top 4 this season; we're worse than I first thought.

With Coq out and Xhaka + Ramsey in the middle, we're going to drop quite a few points.

Cohen bramall. Anyone heard of him? Apparently our new left back signing from some 7th Div team.

Le Coq is out for a month. So with Eleny away, yea so that does leave us with rambo and xhaka in the middle... eek. hope rambo recaptures some form asap.

I'm worried about Xhaka's lack of defensive nous paired with Ramsey's tendency to drift. There are going to be huge holes in midfield.

Ramsey just doesn't offer much unless he's scoring like he was the season before last.

He's not a winger, not an attacking midfielder, not a defensive midfielder, really he is just a better Tim Brown and without scoring regular they don't offer a whole lot other than running around.

Where there's smoke there's fire - Sanchez seems set to leave? Wouldn't be surprised if he was holding out to see if Arsenal can sign a big name this window.

Permalink Permalink

No chance we sell him or Ozil. They may not re-sign but they will be Arsenal players 2017-18

In somewhat of a shock for Wenger Haters everywhere it's wether the Great Man extends his contract that is the present stumbling block. Ozil won't contract extend unless Wenger is boss, Sanchez won't extend unless Ozil does....Despite being an Arsenal fan I find this situation very funny and a perfect summation of how intrinsically Wenger is Arsenal

(For better or for worse).

Wahey lads missed the chat on here, everyone have a good break? Have been up and down the country with the mrs and hardly seen any football. Hopefully we bounce back against Preston and tighten against Chelsea. Time for Xhaka & Ramsey to step it up. Unsure who I'd bring in this window? A Sanchez/Ozil quality long term replacement for Cazorla or wide player?

It was live on ESPN. Fudgeing dreadful first half, lucky not to be 2 or 3 down. Thankfully avoided the replay in the end.

That was ugly. We have a few more matches before we have to play Chelski so time to find some form again. Where's Wally ATM?

Fudgeing hopeless. At midnight the guide said Man Uv Reading live then a replay of WHUv City then another sport that isn't football. Very disappointing.
