Yeah I read that and saw the 'hasn't ruled out' the bid for Henry, but all that's happened is that he's refused to name any names, so anyone's fair game! You could say he hasn't ruled out signing anyone!

Having said, that, United did make an approach for Henry the week after the Champions League final, but I don't believe an official bid was made.

He was past it when he left, I certainly don't hold any ill-feeling towards him.

Fair point.

Nah no way Henry will go there. Two clubs i'd probably bet my house on he'll never end up at are United and Spurs.

Three for me, and two for them.

Ill take that beat. His next transfer is about moving closer to his daughter. I don't have kids but I can imagine as a dad i'd take a job with a rival just to be closer!!!

haha well its already been bandied through the rumour mills once before now, all i'll say is it would be hilarious, seeing the look on gunners faces if he ran onto OT with a united shirt on..

About as likely as Ferdinand wearing an Arsenal shirt. (actually you could probably get him to wear one while he is on one of his drug binges)

Might have to get PaulM (of the erson variety) to take him out on a bender

I cant wait to see and hear you all when he signs. i personaly dont care we sign but we need a striker. he hates it at barca and wants to come back. man u can buy him and pay him and wont have to put all the pressure on him of being their number one man.

that will be a big draw card.

ps great to see all you gunners worry n about this!

I think you have got the wrong idea mate. we arnt worried, we are having a laugh. if 2 years ago he wasnt good enough for us, why the heck would sir Alex want him?

do you honestly believe that when he left the gunners he wasnt good enough?

that is a laugh! even from a gunner!

Sir Alex (if he buy's him) will use him in a similar role to Larsen or Blanc. experienced and quaility, but relaxed and used less.

He's an Arsenal legend. But he's past it, simple as that. We offloaded him at the perfect time.

regardless of whether he is right or wrong, your kidding yourselves if you think that if thierry henry was an arsenal player right now, he wouldnt walk into the starting line up. If u had henry last season, would u have fallen so far behind when adebayor stopped scoring? he would still be in your team

All speculation, whos to say that Henry would have even been fit during that slump, we may not have even had the good start to the season if Henry was there? Everyone said we would struggle to make the top four, yet we ended up 5 points short of winning the league, and performing better than we had the previous 2 seasons with Henry. Talisman yes. League winning striker? not anymore!

I was referring to when he left, which at the time he was playing less due to ongoing injury.

i don'tknow u tell me, was he fit at barca at this time? (all speculation ofcourse). i know you guys over achieved last season, u love to repeat it. and i thinkt he last 2 seasons have proved that the aging of Henry has brought about the end of the "league winning" stiker. Adebayor could have been, but he is not. RVP is not. to win the league now u must have midfielders who score goals, and Ronaldo is proof of this, but he is unique, Chelsea also get tons of goals from midfield. although thats not saying stikers arnt important.

I hope United don't sign Henry, he is past it. Don't think we should look at signing him I would prefer Berbatov or Huntelaar, but if not those 2 then just give Campbell a go.

and thats why they dont win the league!

o n chocnut, Fabresgas only got 7 last season, lampard n ballack got 10 n 7, ronaldo got 31, and rooney and tevez got 12 n 14, to give u an idea of what i mean. in these scoring lists its like rooney and tevez ar ethe mids and ronaldos the striker, but meh, there u go, o and drogba got 8 aswell, but he was out tons

fabregas cannot be expected to score to many because he can't do everything in the arsenal team, that said, i'd expect him to get over 10 this season...who have the young players at arsenal got to look up to? gallas? lol, get some players over 28!!

this has only come about because SAF wants to put pressure on the Spuds to sell Berbatov.

Berbatov wants to leave (and Spuds know this) and the club thought that they could get more for him by playing hardball with United.  If they think that there is alternatives for them, they will lower their price.  Expect Berbatov to be at the theatre of c**ts this weekend

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

You do realise United play a 4-6-0 system where anyone of 4 players can become strikers at any point in the match don't you?

Three for me, and two for them.
