Not much of a dig when you consider the "in Europe" part.

Is it a good dig because Britain is part of Europe . . .

Poor comeback.  Please try again.

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

Heard Harry is wanting to raid Pompey again, by signing both Kranckjar(sp?) and James. Wouldn't mind James as Cudicini really shouldn't have conceeded that goal against Birmingham but that would leave us with potentially 3 starting keepers when Gomes returns. Also rumoured to be in for Petrov.

I may have to steal that for the Croat forum.

Sainter on that other place was the originator... I re-used the gag on the 'Norman Conquests' banner to represent Frankie Mac as well.

Cheers for that.

Giovanni and Jenas to step up and fill Luka's boots?  Maybe, possibly, perhaps... still being 2nd on the table at this early stage it's worth a crack Nigel mouse.

Modric is better, but Piggy is pretty good too. Technically very good, good set-piece delivery and passing, and strong left foot.
Not as quick as Modric, and a lot lazier, probably won't be much help defending.
Having said all that, the money you paid for him is ridiculous. He's worth at least 3-4 times that.

Sounds Like a good buy then. Hope he does well and maybe see him and Modric playing together soon.

Kranjcar is a steal at 2.5 mill. Portsmouth love giving away bargains this season.
Sounds like Newcastle are after young Gareth Bale on loan. Would be a good signing for us. Even though hes been rubbish at Spurs, would love Bale at the toon.

If that did happen Tommy then there really is a god (who wears black and white some days, blue and white others and hopefully yellow and black soon)!

Statistic: Spurs haven't won a Premiership game when Gareth Bale has played.

haha i know. But theres nothing wrong with Bale. He was a class act before he arrived at white hart. If he moves on he may be able to rediscover his form.

It is, although I feel sorry that that Stigma remains. In some of the losses in Ramos' tenure Bale was the best player on the park. I would love to see how he goes in a confident Spurs side...it is hard luck that he has got BAE to compete with who is doing well at the moment.

feel sorry for the bale lad.

read a lot about his exploits in the championship and was looking forward to seeing him in the prem - was obviously gutted when he signed for you lot, but still wanted to see him play nonetheless. Havent seen a lot of him since and cant believe that statistic, the poor guy must have trouble sleeping.

However sill remember his cracking free kick against us to take the lead in the n.london derby... also remember the rest of the game when we cracked in 3 of our own  still, was a good freekick

Do arsenal still get some sell-on clause money on the next bentley sale? He's been quite the little cash-cow for us...

And a nice goal scorer for us (in the match that mattered!)

Bugger! You saw it too HH.  That puts paid to my cunning plan of stealing all the DomPosts so I would be the only one entering.

scoreboard

BBC put it like this

Well that was an absolute belter of a match. Arsenal should have wrapped that up long before the end, though whether teams really require three-goal leads with less than a minute to go is a moot point. Gael Clichy will have nightmares about his headspin, but what a response by Tottenham: for all that Arsenal capitulated - and it was a pathetic capitulation - Jenas's goal was a gem, and Modric's shot against the post deserved to secure the draw. And that's without mentioning Bentley's wonder strike. Bloody hell, that was fantastic. I'll leave the last word to David Bendelman: "Bloody hell."

And I think the last scoreboard was 5-1 n'est pas?

Although I can't for the life of me remember the score at WHL, so perhaps I've erased that from my memory for good reason?

when i said scoreboard, i meant like... ever. All games, all titles, all everything. Not an obscure 4-4 draw. Dude, seriously.

Well I guess it says it all when you can only remember one win, and i can only remember one loss.

Of course some of those "wins" you claim were less than ethical.  Like the one that started it all back in.... oh sh!t I can't remember.
