Tottenham Hotspur should issue life bans to fans who verbally abused the club's former captain Sol Campbell last week, FA chairman David Triesman told a conference of football business leaders on Wednesday.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

It's an interesting one this isn't it? - there's no kick homophobia out of football profile is there and tracking who was giving racist abuse, who homophobic abuse and who both will be a challenge I imagine.

The fact that Redknap talked about the 'filthy' abuse made me automatically think a lot was homophobic nonsence, but the day life bans are extended to that will be a far few years from now I imagine.

Spurs need a decent defensive midfielder so they can free him up to get forward. His talent is certainly there, they just aren't playing in the right manner for him yet.

Knowing tottenham, he'll have a blinder in the second half of the season, along with the rest of the team.

Oh man. It's beyond laughable now.

EDIT: Actually scrap that. Here's what i like to call 'Tottenham Pie'

A long, long time ago
I can still remember
How the Carling Cup win made them smile.
And they knew this could be their chance
To finally make that big advance
And, maybe, break the top 4 for a while.

But transfer windows made them shiver
As Robbie Keane went off to Liver
Pool, and Berbs to Man U;
You cant believe it, can you?
Tears of laughter we all cried
As on Bent they have to rely,
And Frasier Campbell really tried
The day that Tottenham died.

So my my kiss UEFA goodbye
When Comoli sold the goalie
Well it made Levy cry
When you play at Spurs you kiss Capello goodbye
Soon your gonna be a Magpie
I bet you wish you were a Magpie

Sorry yids...

Funnily enough I don't read the Daily Mail...and June 7th was a long time ago!

Interesting, I was listening to 'The Spurs Show with Phil Cornwall' Podcast. Absolute quality by the way. Get a hold of it via itunes...

But i digress, 2-3 weeks ago they had a guy on who has some contacts and he suggested Harry Redknapp as the Manager and Terry Venables as the Director of Football...

I think this is a good move, Harry has experience in relegation dogfights...

Levy has said in his open letter to the fans that Commolli (DOF) will not directly be replaced. You can read this here...

You would think that Redknapp would have told them to go f**k themselves if Commolli stayed
27 Oct 08:11 · edited 09 Sep 05:17
Yeah, no doubt that would've been a deal-breaker.

Tell me, now are you just a little bit nervous about Thurs morning>>???

That Bentley/Pavlyuchenko goal was fair classy...

...if I was still in my teenage 'I like Arsenal heaps' phase I'd be a tad worried

One good result against a pretty poor team at home and now it's all gravy?

I'm not convinced.

27 Oct 08:34 · edited 09 Sep 05:17
It's not all gravy, but...Harry Redknapp's pretty suave - wouldn't be suprised if they pulled one out.

Loved the 'double-pump' when Bent got his penalty, then summoning everyone in...but nobody came!

I wonder if Poyet will go back to Leeds where he was doing really well with them. Wise was just living on his good work.

was wondering last night how long it would take for Beckham to be linked with a loan move to Spurs because of him growing up watching them due to his grandfather and Redknapp is a fan-boy of his. Well, 24 hours later there is the first rumour on the tabloids

What a game, highly enjoyable, outplayed but we showed some nads, and got a point at the new Library off the Woolwich Wanderers...

Gomes has to go though...gives me the sh*ts anytime he's near the ball...

Spurs first goal was class. Gutted I only got to see the second half. Still 5 goals in it...I'm not complaining!

30 Oct 04:08 · edited 09 Sep 05:17
you guys are very lucky to have harry in charge, you must be paying him sh*tloads. he is a class manager-besides the fact that he doesnt have players on either posts at corners?! whats up with that? you could have saved silvestre's goal.

Hopeful hoof.

On game, Spurs were very lucky. Arsenal dominated, although they started crapping themselves after Jenas scored and the equaliser always looked on cards.

I can still see a lot of problems for Spurs. Gomes makes way too many mistakes, will continue to cost them points. Hutton is not Premiership quality, and Bentley's pretty limited player overall. Modric is playing way too deep to be effective, although when he managed to get into the attacking third in the second half things Spurs started looking like they actually might even score. Pavlyuchenko too isolated, and doesn't look too impressive yet, but probably needs a bit of time to fully settle in. Bent a solid Premisrship forward, but nowhere near good enough to take Spurs places they want to go.
