park the bus at stamford bridge, get a big whinge out of mourinho for parking the bus (the irony!)

Awesome stuff

“He can't take it can he,” Allardyce said. “He can't take it because we've out-tactic-ed him, out-witted him. He just can't cope. He can tell me all he wants.

"I don't give a s***e, to be honest. I love to see Chelsea players moaning at the referee, trying to intimidate him, Jose jumping up and down in his technical area. It's great to see.”

good result last night, but in true BFS style he has made the result all about him....

"He can't take it, can he? He can't take it because we've outwitted him - he just can't cope," said the Hammers boss. "Tactically we got it right in two areas particularly: one was in stopping [Eden] Hazard, Oscar and Willian and [Samuel] Eto'o scoring goals; and the other one was stopping them scoring from set plays."

Mourinho after playing Arsenal (Dec 23) - "Boring is the team who plays at home and can't score a goal."

Mourinho after playing West Ham (Jan 29) - "This is not the best league in the world, this is football from the 19th century. The only [other] thing I could bring was a Black and Decker [tool] to destroy the wall. It's very difficult to play a football match where only one team wants to play. It's very difficult"

I guess it's only natural he is with all the stick he's getting. It was his tactics after all that got the point. Great result for neutrals BFS is akin to Nelson Mandela compared to Mourinho. I mean negative tactics, a highly inflated opinion of yourself, (hmm maybe they are similar?), but at least he's not done the cheap "mind games", eye-poking, ruining careers, etc of Maureen.

Christ it must be difficult being a fan of a club with him in charge.

So apparently it's West Ham the Phoenix are negotiating with to bring out here in July. Guess they'd be cheaper than many other EPL teams - and of course may not be an EPL team by then. One other team they're hoping to bring here too (not Arsenal or Spurs):

http://www.mathesonsportsmedia.com/exclusive-stories.html

On current form, the Hammers are one of the few  EPL sides the Phoenix will have some slim chance of beating, as they did Boca Juniors in 2010.

I got to say after watching Andy Carrol last night. I can't think of a better play in the world in the role he provides. His heading passes are probably the best I have seen, the way he heads it back to a player to control it on the ground works way more than it should. To bad about the soft red.

Sometimes you got to put up a wall to achieve things. Chelsea has done this to achieve the champions league. West Ham did it for a crucial point to help achieve survival.

As one of the senior members of the Kiwi Hammers we've been in touch with both West Ham & Wellington Phoenix who have been very cooperative with us, which is fantastic

It looks as though we'll be getting an away section just for the West Ham fans at the Westpac Stadium definitely (will be working on the other venue when its announced). The Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne hammers have been in touch with us and looks as though we'll be having a sizeable turnout, and judging by the response on KUMB there will be a couple of dozen of people coming over from England (Mostly people who had already planned on being here on holiday)

On top of this, we're emailing a lot of local pubs/bars/restaurants to see if we can get any sort of discounts arranged for those in claret & blue, I'll keep you all updated.

Well he certainly wont be going to West Ham B Lonegunmen.
You already have Redknap, Green, O'Neil, Benayoun, Zamora, Morrison, Ephraim, and Maiga (Thank God) .I think they even sing Bubbles in the dressing room before the game to make the guys feel at home.
It would be sad to see the NZ Captain booed everytime he touched the ball if he went to Spurs.

Great work Lil Joe. Can you provide contact details for Kiwi Hammers Please. Last I knew of a Kiwi Hammers group was a bloke in Auckland, Peter W?? who used to post out stuff but didnt have email. They used to meet at a pub in Browns Bay.
He arranged for me to get a one on one tour of Upton Park back in 1999 with the Ground Manager, John Bull. Still have a picture of me standing in the penalty area in front of the Bobby Moore Stand. Reminds me of how I used to play my football.

Tee Hee, you can have all of them back now except Morrison please and no, you cant have Phil Parkes back either Nor Paul Goddard, Nor Clive Allen. Whom if you remember scored that brilliant double drag back goal against when in hoops. Always had a soft spot for your club since I saw your lot beat Fulham in the cup final.

We used to have meet up's quite regularly at Four Kings in Wellington however this season haven't been quite as active due to Premier League Pass. Regardless I'd still like to have regular meet ups even if it's at my house, we can hook it up to the big TV!
If you have facebook you can join us on here. We're mostly based in Wellington unlike Peter's lot who are based in Auckland (I do think they are still around but aren't as active any more. I sent him an email and asked if he would like to integrate the two groups but didn't hear back)
We're also on twitter (used far less frequently at @KiwiHammers)
Or just give us an email at [email protected]

Big Andy cutting shapes at The Ave!

Just imagine - it's party time for the whole squad downstairs, before Stewart Downing plays a cruel prank by leading everyone upstairs, knowing full well that being 9 feet tall, Carroll can't fit. In a moment of loneliness and rage Carroll hulks out and starts a fight, only to be promptly headbutted by Alan Pardew (who had appeared from nowhere, sensing the opportunity to throw his fored around). This inevitable scenario is going to be a sight to see, and I for one cannot wait to be there.

Could be a 50/50. English pundits seem split on if he'll go. At any rate Ingerlund will fall over no later than the last 16 (hopefully fail in their group).  The Nix chap on the telly just now reckoned those intl players that go out of the WC early will be in Wellington. I'm not so sure about that.
