Lolololol. Madrid thought they would pay all this money and play a final in their own stadium........ Hahahahahaha. Thank you so much Lyon. Higuain- hahahaha. Hijo de puta. Guti:

"It's a real shame," he told Telemadrid. "We showed once again that, in the big games, we are unable to go for the kill."

This is so great. I pray that Barcelona can reach the final and win the European Cup in front of all those Madridistas. Excellent.

He is doing well enough. He was recently saying how happy he is and that he wants to stay. It is very good to have him and Assuncao next to each other for many games.

Yip, won 1-0. A delightful goal from Jurado in the 78th minute being the difference. Forgot to mention the pretty poor Europa League performance. 0-0 at home, playing agianst 10 men for most of it, and eventually 9 right near the end.

Sporting 2-2 Atleti. Through on away goals. Great stuff! A Kun brace was enough, twice putting us in the lead. De Gea's save was boss. Happy days!

Atletico vs Perennial strugglers Liverpool. Who do you support?

Three for me, and two for them.

Hmmmm. Well, Imma say Libpool. 'Cause I have followed them forever, whereas Atleti was just since around 2000. Tough one, though. I really hope it isn't that!

Yeah. Better than the final, I guess. Valencia in the Europa League! Kind of lame- it isn't as fun playing teams from the same country. But all good. We know we can win.

4-1 loss away at Mallorca. Yet another red card- too many this season! No Kun. And Mallorca are fantastic at home, so no real shocks there, tbh.

Only worried about Europa League and Copa del Rey. We're 11th in La Liga now.

Well, not exactly easy! But a good win, nonetheless. Tough to see us winning at the Bernabeu, to be honest, but nice to have a bit of confidence. Real back on top after a 2-4 win away at Getafe. Hopefully Kun can destroy the Madridistas!

3-2 defeat. Can't say I'm surprised, but utterly disappointed. No fight after Forlan pulled one back. First half was good (Tiago- what a block!!) but after halftime we were f**ked. Awful play for Higuain's goal. Looks like we have to wait another year for a win in the Bernabeu.

Well, into the semis we march wehre Fernando Torres and Libpool await us.

Held on to our two away goals last week and played well, we should have won this game. No major though; happy days!

The referee was a bit strange. He refused to award Valencia 2 penalties after handball inside the box of Atletico and Zigic was left with a torn shirt, by this Forlan was incorrectly called offside after scoring a goal. What did two additional assistants do?

Well, many decisions have gone our way in the Europa League... Also against Gala we were very lucky not to have conceded a penalty.

According to the Guardian podcast Athletco have only won one game (out of 12?) in europe this season. Yet they find themselves in the semis. Draw specialists.

Rangers achieved the same thing last year (maybe 2 years ago?) when they were beaten finalists in Manchester.

Remember that involves them being knocked out of the Champions League as well.

Shows how... tactically astute we are?

Yeah... Although I'd take a few draws in La Liga every now and then! Yet another loss this morning; this time to the awful Xerez. At home. This comes after a 3-0 loss in Barcelona against Espanyol. Although in the latter, we had just got through in Europe, so it was an understandably tired performance. Xerez just wanted (and needed) to win win more than us, this morning.

Benayoun scored a fair goal but the referee incorrectly called offside. Again wrong decisions in so important games. Whats up with refs?   Nevertheless Atletico played much better, especially in the second half.

Atleti were awful, Libpool were worse. From an Atleti point of view, we should have got more than one. The ref was good, the linesman was an idiot.

Yay! Two finals; two more than the mighty Real Madrid. A good opportunity here to claim a double, which would be awesome for the club. Bring on Fulham and Sevilla. Can't wait.

Hopefully he breaks his leg celebrating his last minute winner in the World Cup Final and never fully recovers his form.
