Well, we've been knocked out of the Europa League, despite last season's glory... Uhm, hopefully we can concentrae on La Liga?

It's hardly worth talking about the game against Barcelona.  The Europa League is still within reach!

Of course not. Lucky it was only 3 and we didn't catch them on a ruthless day! Yeah, it is, for sure. But 2011 hasn't been good to us  Need to get back into gear pronto.

As usual- always looking for a manager to blame. We're sh*t. Forlan missed a penalty and then they score a late winner- no fun. Gonna need a miracle to get Europa League. Ahh, the rollercoaster continues!

Well, the english-speaking press (probably the press in general) prefer a story about a manager getting sacked to one about a manager giving sterner team talks.

It's a bad run, but Zaragoza is a good opportunity to start turning things around.

Yeah, plus in Spain they change the managers a lot more regularly. It always seems to happen about now because we need a do need a change and it'll give the team a lift until next season! Defo, need to keep looking to improve and searching for a win to try and stop the rot.

Just watched the highlights of the Valencia game.  Having seen him hit the post, I can now believe that Forlan missed a penalty.  (No, I know that he does miss, but it was still surprising!)

Yeah, he's not really been the same player since the World Cup- a definite high for him. Mind you, the team has been typically hot and cold anyway- you never know which Atleti will turn up!

 It was meant to be after that end. Hopefully we can push on after this win! Tough few games coming up though- Sevilla, Getafe and Villareal all in the next week. Could potentially give us a massive boost or knock our European chances off the rails..

Draw against Sevilla is about right.  Rollercoaster confined to the 90 minutes.

Ended up being a pretty good week overall with some tough games in there!  Hopefully be able to push on now, get into Europe, which didn't look likely a while ago!

We can only hope! With potential CL semi-final, Copa del Rey final and the League all to play for, we really really need Barca to go crazy and destroy them again. That would be too good.

 Great game this morning. Kun with a really nice goal, good to have him back. Everyone played really well- Diego Kosta, Tiago was good as always, Suarez had a good game. Sociedad weren't good at all though, but nice to get three points and back in the mix for Europe again! Vamos!

That Aguero to Chelsea rumour has resurfaced.  If this carries on, you may end up as a Blues fan by default!

Home straight looks pretty easy, too, though Bilbao are facing comparable opposition.  Sevilla host Real (any result there will be a good one) and have to go to Espanyol.
 
Should finish 5th.  But anything can happen.

All of this is true, but especially that. It is Atletico we're talking about! Good fightback to get to where we belong, now its important we finish 5th, which will be good all things given. Will be struggling to keep Kun in the summer though.

2nd to last round, playing for Europe against already-relegated Hercules @ home.  A win - surely a win!  What could go wrong?

intrigued to see how Courtois goes with you guys. possible future chelsea no1. thing is though, cech is 29 so he has at least 4-5 years left where he can be our no1 so could be sometime before courtios gets a look in.
