This is painful to watch. 

First half we looked good but this half we have so many passes either to nobody or directly to the other team. I feel like we’ll toil all game for nothing.

 That great save at the end of the Phillipines match to prevent Jale.... that's the difference between playing at Eden Park and buying candy floss. 

It stings like fudge right now but going in to the tournament I expected us to beat Phillipines and get pumped by Norway and Switzerland.

So proud of these women!

Disappointed but really proud of the Ferns. Before the tournament would have taken a win and a draw. They created lots of positive emotions and the Norway game was one of my all time best football watching experiences. The NZ public got engaged in a way I never thought would happen. Great for football and women’s sport in general.

Well that was fun while it lasted. Proud of the girls and hopefully this inspires a whole generation of footballers.

Ultimately though, I'm not sure they really believed they could get through. Norway felt like we were flying on the confidence of having nothing to lose, and that just disappeared for the next two games.

Great fight but came down to the bit we had all been worried about, putting it in the net. Not sure how much that is the coach or the talent available. Either way need to improve in the future. 
But for right now, just think the team did amazing through the 3 games. They have taken football in this country into places it has never been before. Very proud of what they have demonstrated.
