So Week 13-Week 1 = 6 Weeks, a Kicker normally averages 10pts a week (Pretty much all kickers are the same), it should be 10 Kickers more :P

Better Stat 28 Kickers have more points in 2015 than Peyton Manning...

Week 2 Preview

I freely admit this is just waffle, but you are now reading it so don't stop here. Major focus on Thursday Night game, but will also give a quick rundown of the major players in each team's starting line-up for this week.

TNF: Broncos @ Chiefs

At home with two good defenses I am picking the chiefs to win here, especially with CJ.Anderson questionable with injury and Peyton questionable as to whether he is any good, any more.

Jamaal Charles (HUYS) - The Broncos did quite well to stop the Ravens on the ground last week, BUT Charles is pretty good at catching balls as well, which is what happened when they struggled on the ground last week, should be a Top 10 RB again

Jeremy Maclin (MW) - A bit disappointing in Week 1 for the Chiefs receiver, but I would back him to imprvoe a little in this game, the Broncos did stop the Ravens pass game last week, BUT that game was horrid.

Demaryius Thomas (FAIR) - A Nice play here, will be marked, but if Peyton really is done you have to be worried. if he can get 50yds and a TD you'd have to be Happy.

CJ.Anderson (HMEZ) - You have to be worried, he hasn't practiced fully all week, and on a short week with an injury is never a good play, but how do you decide to bench a Top 10 possible RB. I think this week I'd sit him. (Probably play TJ.Yeldon instead

Broncos D (HMEZ) - I don't think they do as well this week as they have Alex Smith who just does not turn the ball over.

Brandon McManus (RMTC) - There is no way he is the top scoring Bronco again, actually he could be, but it won't be 18pts again, he is kicking in Kansas Cit this week not in Denver, the altitude makes an incredible difference (Hence why I added him in my Dynasty league which has 0.1pts for EVERY yard over 30)

Emmanuel Sanders (USOS) - I liked Sanders early in the offseason as his draft price was pretty good for a Broncos pass catcher, but now with Peyton in trouble I'd be worried. In saying that, Sanders gets a bit more short yardage stuff, so could be a goodchoice for 5-10 catches and 40yds which should give 10pts a week.

Overall Preview

Focus for me is going to be on very high projections, the difference between teams, injuries (Mainly Question marks) and anyone I think they are very under rated this week (I will only look at Starters, unless you have an injured player in starting)

Waffles vs Rodrgiuez 107.4-117.4

R.Wilson (HUYS) - Projection is 14.4pts I feel this is very low given the match-up, the Green Bay secondary had some problems last week, will be interesting to see about this, look for Kearse & Baldwin to get a few targets, and Lockett to get a TD from him.

M.Ryan (HMEZ) - Umm 10pt projection against the Giants? They know the Giants can't stop the pass right?

Other Projections all look about right.

Injuries: CJ.Anderson is questionable, LeSean McCoy was pulled from practice today after hamstring issues, he is listed as Probable on yesterdays injury Report, but I expect that to change today. Julio Jones has missed a practice this week, but it looks like it is just continued recovery to give him a day off each week. Michael Floyd was a bit of a low play last week, he got 9 snaps total, but is upgraded and practicing this week. (I am tempted to sit him), Mike Evans is recovering after sitting last week, is still listed as questionable, but the reports are a lot better this week. Rodriguez's back-up options are an issue as well he has many injuries in the bench at the moment.

Paul vs White 98.5-103.7

Allen Robinson (NP) - 11.1pts seems a huge projection here for Robinson, he didn't get the targets last week, and he dropped a few too..

Drew Brees (NP) - seems a bit low to only get 13pts against the poor effort that was the TB Defense.

Injuries: TY.Hilton is listed as questionable, this is nuts there is no way he is playing this week, could be 2-3 weeks off. Randall Cobb has been listed as questionable, he has been limited at practice but he was last week as well.

Troopers vs Fairies 104-102.2

Darren Sproles (MET) - How are they projecting him so low, he was the best RB in Philly last week, he will be catching balls out of the backfield, the Cowboys defense has improved, but it still sucks afainst the pass.

Torrey Smith (FAIR) - That seems like an over projection to me, the 49ers didn't get him the ball against the dumpster fire that was my Vikings, and they are playing Pittsburgh this week, yes their defense is worse than last year, but it was GRONK who did everything last week.

Injuries: Percy Harvin was rested last week, and again this week but looks like he will play once again.

Hammers vs Billikids 100.9-112.3

Carson Palmer (LOHA) - I'd be playing him if I have him, would be the one QB I would definitely give a 20pt projection to this week, I just can't see the Bears getting close to stopping the Cardinals this week.

Reuben Randle (LOHA) - Seems overprojected, did not much last week, and now faces Atlanta who shut down most of the Philly WRs (except Matthews), and OBJ & Cruz both look to be closer to playing fully this week.

Injuries: Justin Forsett is suffering a bit with a shoulder injury, but he will get there and play this week.

Usos vs Tegal 115.1-118.1

Antonio Brown (TEGA) - Seriously you don't project 19pts for a WR, did anyone else see the San Fran pass rush last week, if there is one QB I'd trust to stand up to it Big Ben is the one, but still throwing 100yds and a TD to his #1 WR seems unlikely to me.

Emmanuel Sanders (USOS) - I have posted my doubt above, 13pts seems too high for Sanders.

Injuries: None

My pick for surprise player of the week in the Starting role at his position: Jameis Winston will be a Top 5-10 QB this week, he is against the Rob Ryan run Saints Defense, they are horrible, and he is actually good (The Titans Def was Top 5 against the pass last year & the Buccs was bottom 5)

My Surprise Starter who is going to bomb this week: DeAndre Hopkins will be outside the top 20 at WR this week, I believe that Carolina Defense is a Top 5 defense against both run & pass this season (They will miss the playoffs though because of their WRs) - Alternative here is Carlos Hyde...Pittsburgh will manage to stop San Fran and we will see a lowscoring game here.

Will be interesting to see how many games and what times they will be on.  I've got the gamepass for this year, but could maybe look to skip that going forward.

http://tvnz.co.nz/tvnz-pop-up-channel/nfl-6387956

Looks like each week will have 4 games, Thursday Night Football, and three Sunday games 1pm, 4pm & Sunday Night Football

That's pretty sweet.  Still enjoying the Gamepass (especially the condensed package for each game), but with 4 games for free each week, I would have to give serious consideration to dropping it next year.

I heard something that they would be On Demand too, but that was with Freeview Plus so you have to have the right decoder/tv for that.

Still I have a hard drive and I'm just going to series link all the games and that way when baby keeps me up, I'm going to watch some football

That's brilliant, hopefully it's on the TVNZ OnDemand and not just through FreeviewPlus. I ditched Sky years ago, I pay about $35 per month and get access to WatchESPN which includes ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNU, SEC Network, ESPN News and a bunch of stuff in Spanish. I like College Football as it's on Sunday's mostly so actually get to watch it live. They only have Monday Night Football on ESPN in the States so these 4 games live here will be a nice addition.

Yeah was the Charles fumble returned for a TD. +2pts for the Fumble + 6pts for the TD, and when you add that I lost 2pts for the fumble was a 10pt turnarounf in my game ;(

I'm getting shafted.

Fairfield's D/St with 16 and K with 19!

Gronk, Steve Smith and Big Ben have given me a small outside chance but 3 points from a usually reliable D/ST and 0 from my K stings.

I made wrong decisions today.... Went Bradford instead of Brady (or even Andy Dalton has done better), Went Dolphins D instead of Cardinals D.

Not sure If I still would have won, but would have given me a fighting chance.

Instead it's the fourth lowest YF Dynasty score ever.

Fudge, fudge, fudge.

I thought that Derek Carr was going to be injured, and that Pat McGloin was going to play so I dropped Amari Cooper.  Cooper scored 21 fudgeing points. To rub salt into the wounds, going into the 4th quarter the WR for Rammtallica (Jason Matthews) had 0 receptions, and 0 points. The fudgeing fudgeer ended up with 17.

I now need the Jets D and Chris Ivory to score a combined 26 points tonight.

Best part about that is in my redraft league I have the Jets D & Chris Ivory and am also behind, though I only need 16pts

Anyone need a QB?
Injuries to Brees (shoulder), Romo (Clavicle), Stafford (Ribs) and Cutler (Hamstring)

Also if a contender is looking for a RB, Charles may be available, I am looking for a young RB or WR...

I did alright in week 1, but was blown away by a rampant Tegal. I did poorly in week 2 and was beaten by Rammtallica.

I am now fully confident of beating a struggling (and obviously panicking) Waffles. The season starts in week 3.

Haha I get LeVeon Bell back this week ;-)

Also, not exactly panicking, just think my team is not performing yet, struggling for sure.

2015 Week 2 Updates

Injury Updates

I seriously think Nialls Paul is jinxed this season, Ellington, Witten, Stafford, Cameron, Brees, Decker, Cobb, Bryant injuries is just insane, he also owns Hilton (Shaken up), Tannehill (Questionable), just an absolutely insane number of injuries on one team.

The Top Players Update

The QB situation looks to have started to sort itself out, Brady, Rodgers & Big Ben are good, we knew that coming in. Carson Palmer will be awesome, UNTIL he gets injured. And then there is a bunch of the young guys doing a job, Taylor, Mariota (Who cam back to earth), Newton, Dalton, Kaep, Wilson & Winston.

DeAngelo Williams topping the RB list makes for an interesting discussion for Pittsburgh, LeVeon Bell is back this week, do they just bench DWilly? Forte & Charles are the two Top level guys who are achieving as expected, while the young guys here are going well. Going to be interesting to see if the top guys come towards the top or the young guys continue to dominate.

Most of the top 10 here could've been predicted: A.Brown, Julio, Fitz, Edelman, Hopkins, Sanders & Marshall would've all featured on at least one experts list of Top 10 WRs coming into the season. Travis Benjamin is a weird one, he has only 7 catches, and some insane TDs, but can he actually achieve that?

There is one definite starter at TE and that is Gronk, the rest are all pretty much replaceable. ASJ is now out 6-8 weeks.

The Action Update

The Injured boys met the Beached Whale this week, projection had this as a close game, it REALLY wasn't. When Crowell & Garcon are your best players you know you are in trouble, the best part of this game was Whale starting Bradford over Brady & Dalton, oh and the Cards being benched vs the Dolphins. As for Nialls team, have to be very happy with Allen Robinson turning around week 1, Eric Decker & Randall Cobb turned up, has to still be some worries about parts of their team as J.Hill, Brees continue to struggle.

The Troopers were led by good efforts from Gronk, Big Ben & Steve Smith, but in the end it wasn't enough as DWilly, Thomas & Boldin scored well, but the Patriots DST & Kicker just romped this home for the Fairies, crazy to think that this all fell appart due to kickers & Defense.

This game was just insane, neither team really scored as many points as possible. Megatron & Adrian Peterson lived up to their expectations this week, but some very below averages in a bunch of other positions meant neither team made it to a 100pts. And both teams had WRs with more than 21pts on their bench, in Crabtree, Moncrief & Cooper.

Two great WRs went head to head in the Rodriguez vs Waffles match-up, but in the end one team managed to get a good scor,e the other stayed below 100pts. Donuts put up by M.Evans, M.Floyd & D.Allen led to Waffles not even getting close. While Rodriguez had great players coming from everywhere, Odell, Marshall, Landry, Broncos and Crosby are all greatr this year, could be a big one for Swarlos.

Do we need to talk about this? Usos got a third of their points from Sanders which is pretty tough. A combined 16pts from Luck, Lacy,Sankey, Gore, K.WrightErtz & the Ravens is just a horrible week, they should all bounce back at some point. A huge boost for Tegal was having three of the best WRs in the league as Fitzgerald, A.Brown & Edelman all managed to score around 30pts.
