After an 11 game win drought in the league that saw me drop from first to 12th I've finally managed a victory!!!

Haha makes me feel better about my 6 game winless run that dropped me from first to 9th.

I have a forward - Aaron McLean - who has played 107 times for my club and scored 101 goals.

Just had a look on the FM forums and saw that Robbie Kruse has been given a fixed PA of [spoiler alert]160[/spoiler alert] in the recent 11.3 patch.

A couple of wins (including a 6-1 win) that put him into playoff spots last time!

Am currently in my second season in L1 after spending a Season in BSN, 3 seasons in BSP and 2 Seasons in L2. Managed a tidy 10th in L1 last season so am hoping I am able to build on that. However I tried to upgrade all my facilities, but they were scrapped 3/4 of the way into the season due to lack of funding. I'm pretty much broke now and have very little to work with in terms of a wage budget.

Currently have a squad of 18, all very good quality players. Need some depth though... struggling to find anyone decent.

Need a new club to manage. Over England, A-League is too easy. Don't really want the big European leagues. MLS? South America? Any ideas?

Brazil is always fun. I'm also thinking I might find out what the strongest African league is and have a go at it.

Think the only African league is South Africa. Which could be interesting in itself. Hopefully the Middle Eastern leagues are added in the next edition.

Les Lilas - France... or a real challenge is Alto Adige.  You can't expand the stadium as it's in an historic viillage.

Well, I started a save with all the American leagues, ans started unemployed as an ex French international. And New York have come calling at the end of the first season after they finished second bottom in Eastern Conference. Time to bring some Kiwis into the MLS. Kosta is top of the wishlist. Kosta + Henry + Angel up front = 

Might try those lower French leagues next, France is an area that interests me. Potential for Agde as well in the CFA, spent a bit of time there last year. Some mint topless beaches

How do you manage in the CFA? I made all divisions in France playable but it still won't allow.

Last time I did it was in 08 or 09 so no idea.

Promotion.  Finished third.  Also picked up Ressies and U18 titles.

Fed up with Max crowds of 2000 though...

Will have a fiddle with the editor and see what i can do.

MLS wsa sh*te btw, got all confused by all the different contract types and transfer rules. Maybe for a day when I'm less tired.

currently in 2017/18 A-league season, won it three times in a row, taking the double twice....got offered the all whites gig last year after Ricki left....hired him back as my assistant though just for the first two seasons until I get to know the players in the pool....

You know what I f**king hate.  You have a game that isn't going well so you clear the bench at 90.  Every single time you then cop an injury between 70 and 75 and they roll over your 10 man side...

Wish I could play...stupid steam...

Aite I've hit 2018/19 season. Pretty much let everyone of my players go after a dreadful season, where I was saved from relegation out of L1 on the final day. Am rebuilding the squad and have decided I am going to adopt a unique formation:

Good luck Mr Incredible with that formation. I tried something kind of similar (with wing backs solely for width) in my first season and a half of my present game, as Sunderland.

Worked ok, but wasn't very consistent, particularly struggled away from home.

After that, moved to a traditional (boring?) 442, and after half a season to settle, has worked very well.

Now into my 5th season - note, I'm playing a personally modified league system - all English leagues only play one round of league matches, instead of 2. This means there are only 19 Premier League games in a season. I did this because I don't have much time to play these days, and a full season of 50+ games just takes forever. It has surprisingly had very few negative flow on effects.

I'm loving this shortened version - I've managed to rip through 4 and a half seasons, possibly the longest I've ever got into a game of CM/FM, which is remarkable considering I've played every version religiously since CM93/94 (would usually lose interest in a save game a season or two in).

Anyway, I've been consistent in the league without ever truly challenging for the title; respective finishes of 7th, 5th, 4th, 5th and currently 5th. But I pulled off an astonishing FA Cup win over a strong Chelsea side in my 3rd season (got hammered in the final in my first season).

Even more remarkable, that qualified me for the Champions League the next season, and against all odds, I managed to win it! Smashing Shakhtar, Inter, a superb Arsenal, before demolishing Juventus 3-1 in the final. And topped it off by beating Chelsea for the Euro Super Cup. Really want to win the League this season!

Notable signings include Gareth Bale, Igor Akinfeev, Marek Hamsik, Phil Jones, Mexes, Bassong and Bojan. Just upset my fans by selling icon Darren Bent at age of 30, to make way for a couple of superb young regens. Bent scored close to a goal a game, but always underperformed against big opposition, he just bullied weaker teams with hat tricks.

Anyway, loving it! Bring on the league title.

First season in league 1.

In a similar situation to News. My stadium holds 3600 (1500 seat), no facilities. I tried to get some when I reached L1, but  unfortunetly they were axed after being 3/4 complete and watching sh*tloads of money.

Is Football Manager Handheld 2011 (for iPhone) any good?

To save money buying FM 2011, I made my own 2011 database for FM 2010.
I have updated the premier league to its current state. The features include:

-All transfers and loans up to date, including January for all EPL clubs
-Current abilities and Potential abilities altered for nearly all EPL players
-All EPL Player birthdates moved back a year to simulate that they are a year older
-Home kits and some away kits updated
-European places updated, eg Spurs in CL and Liverpool in Europa league
-Barcelona, Madrid and Bayern players made year older + CA and PA altered
-Hot prospects eg Neymar altered CA and PA
-Managers changed appropriately

I knew what I was doing so it didn't take as long as it could have. I probably spent half a day but it is the holidays....
I also removed all injuries from EPL players
As for logos, go to my documents, sports interactive, football manager 20XX, graphics, logos, then drag your folder (usually the name of the league) with all of the images in them. If graphics or logos aren't there, create them.
You also need to download the logos from a FM mod website as it wont work doing it yourself
