FM11: Online Game
Wondering if anyone would be interested in starting an online FM game using the network feature. It's not hard to setup and is great fun...
I thought a good way to go would be a fictional super league - created by the editor - so each player can chose any club they would like. Alternatively each player could take over a club in a backwater league somewhere around the world that none of us are likely to know anything about...
There would be a playtime once or twice a week where the game would be played with each player taking control of there respective club. It doesn't matter if you wouldn't be able to commit to every playtime - during the games you are unable to make the computer would take control of things - similar to how the assistant manager takes control when you go on holiday.
Basically looking to see who would be interested. It would be cool if we could get around 5 or more and start a league!

Be warned... I have played 4 seasons of the A-League. Won the minor premiership once, got second place every other time. Made the grand final every time and won that twice.

Im too cheap to pay a fee for something I'll never use.
get one at a bank that will waive the fee for the first year, use it once and then cancel it...
Or keep it and go crazy on ProDirectSelect

At least with a Debit Card you can't spend money you don't have, just spend money you need for something else.

Aite, so I think we have enough (Cam is about to come on soon and tell you he's keen to play).
That'd make 5 or 6 of us depending on if Tegal gets a copy...
Now we just need to set a weekly time, work out what format we want to use and we are set.
Not sure about what time, but personally I reckon the best format would be the fantasy league one because it would mean we avoid playing AI-Managed teams. Depends what other people prefer though.

make it a wednesday evening, be a nice break away the work week......either that after 8 any week night suits me.....
I generally work nights. Monday night will be the only night I consistently have off. But that's because I have twilight football.

I'm 2 hours ahead guys... But at the moment I can do most nights.
K, So Harry is 2 hours behind (he said ahead but I think he got mixed up lol) and I think we also have to take in to account the CL is in Hawaii and therefore 18 hours behind.

Aite, so that we can get on with sh*t I've made the executive decision that we will be doing a 5 team super league format. Everyone choose a team - first in, first served. Can be any club from any league.
I got FC Barcelona.
Mondays at 830 wouldve been perfect for me. Good on you for getting sh*t started though.

If you want to make it good you should have a ban on the following teams:
All EPL teams
All La Liga teams
All Serie A teams
All Bundesliga teams
Lyon, Marseille, Ajax, PSV, Porto, Benfica and Sporting.
Makes it far more interesting without the usual choices of Barca, Madrid, Arsenal, United, Europa League side Chelsea or the two Milans.

you make a good point, perhaps aim at championship team and lower leagues.....
