has anyone else found this game is the business for playing with your mates? Honestly spent a good 2 hours playing last night with my mate in the Arse vs L'Pool matches, and an AC Milan v Barca match and we had some incredible passages of play happening!!!

Yeah we play for hours having little competitions. Also great fun setting up a World Cup to play co-op, and when you score goals from good interplay in co-op it feels mean as.

OK. Lashed out last weekend and got a 2nd hand FIFA 10 for PS2.
Just using Manager Mode and haven't noticed all the glitches reported a few months ago but do find that when the penalty box is crowded e.g. for corners the screen gets really jerky until the ball is cleared. Quite annoying!
However so far (at World Class level - haven't been game to try legendary yet):
Spurs on top after 8 games (inc 7-1 pasting of Chelski @ Stamford Bridge).
Toon - cruise control in the fizzy pop league.
Nix - won 2 lost 2, 4th so far. Lack of $ means it is hard to get the coaching level up and the players are pretty fatigued at the start of the games. Also the capt is a chap called Durant.
Mostly amusing.

Wynton Rufer has been in the Classic XI in FIFA games since 06 when they started putting in the Classic and World XI sides. When FIFA started introducing rewards in the game he was always one of the classic players you could unlock too.

Gutted, my nephew and I played an entire A League season and got held to a 0-0 in our last match, we finished 2nd in the League and was expecting a Playoff at home, instead we got this stupid sign saying we came secon, congratulations. No friggen playoffs!! After all that effort.
Oh and I scored a goal as Durante. A 30 yard screamer in the second to last game!

Same with me but on Computer. Also one thing that pisses me off is when i pass it out from goalie. the keeper decideds to sprint out of the box and get in a good position to receive the ball untill it gets to a certain point where he then retreats to the goal. but it suxs when you lose the ball and they soot and you have no GK.

He was playing FIFA 09 - which on the PS2 is a much better game the FIFA 10 (the jerky screen around the penalty box is getting very annoying now). Although that aside it isn't as responsive as 09 which makes for a better challenge.
Still after 17 rounds I can't complain about my three teams in Manager Mode.
does anyone know the step up in difficulty from world class to legendary?

When you move the legendary you will notice your players starting t make weird mistakes.

Probably been mentioned way back in this thread, but nix get tired so easily that I use all the squad regularly - Mulli, Ferrante, Rojas etc are all pretty handy. Ricki realy should give them a go when we get to the play-offs...

Yeah im noticing that now. Working on upgrading fitness as much as possible. Such an unfit bunch! Costa is very handy as a striker because of his pace,so when the other strikers are tired,hes great to come on fresh.
Do like how fatigue actually affects a players play...earlier versions it never really mattered all that much. A tired team is actually hard going.

Most of my nix games start off well - maybe get one or two goals up and then in the last part of the game when everyone is getting stuffed and have no more subs it's just a grim hang on until the whistle.
...very Nix!
But having said that they did give Adelaide a 7-2 pounding recently.

Round 18 of the A-League, EPL and Fizzy Pop.
GCU played nix at Clive's place. It had snow around the edges, the players were wearing gloves and exhaling condensation....in December. Global warming really is over-hyped.
Still the conditions obviously suited the Wgtn-based lads (another 3 pts and into 3rd place).

I reckon FIFA2010 is best played on PS3 with '360' degree control. I've played all the FIFA games since 98', most on PC and the PC version of 09 and 10 are crap compared to playing on PS3.
Also the level of difficulty seems to be not on par between the platforms - on 09 I could handle legendary pretty easily but on PS3 world class was fricken hard!!!
In FIFA10 me and a couple of mates have been playing manager mode using the Nix on Professional and we are just getting to the grips of it. Will probably switch to world class soon - which isn't that bad but you have to sprint way more on defence which results in super tired players.
The team looks nothing like the orignal though! Into the 3rd season, made play offs first season, won the whole thing 2nd season, and the team rating is 2 and a half stars with a 7 star fitness coach and about 4 mil in the bank... mate has gone to invercargill for work so no fifa for a few months :(

PS2 is on the way out - would be surprised if there were any FIFA games for it next year.
However will be a while before I can justify getting a PS3.
Must say that the A-League is wierdly tight as in the real thing. Nix drawing their way to the play-offs. Waiting for a Siggy or Manny moment and then I'll know it is a high-tech crystal ball.

Seriously. Every single Manager Mode I do ends up freezing after 3 seasons. Just doesn't load after a game the load bar stays at 0% Frik it's pissing me off!!
Also if I wanted to make Craig Henderson what do you guys think about his stats? I've never seen the guy play

Huge News, Squad update is out Phoenix have had an overhaul with players being switched around into new positions (Muscat for example) Reddy and Big Dadi are in the team loving it.

On the Junior82 PS2 platform for 2009/10:
Nix finished 3rd (world class)
