Problem being Nz Seb, I've did a console repair request via xbox360.co.nz, which was accepted, but nothing else ever happened. I rang MS call center and was told something was coming in the mail, never turned up. Tried on the web again only to find my warranty has expired, even the extended one for the RRoD, so I emailed someone at MS about it only to find it was someone who lived in the USA and had no idea what rural delivery in NZ was. Now they want me to pay $180 to get it fixed.

Question from someone who is yet to get the game: When you get sacked or leave the club as a manager do you get offered jobs or can you take any like in FIFA 09 if your rep is high enough?

You get offered jobs depending on how high your rep is. For some reason though after winning an EPL I could only scrape a job in League 2.

The problem is, before a team (such as United) sacks you in the games leading up to it you lose all your rep, then whee you eventually do get sacked your rep is zero.

I haven't been sacked yet, but when you start you can choose any team you want. I may be able to let you know tonight though, if Hereford don't start winning . I've started negotiating a transfer for Siggy and Costa.

I'm at 4.5 stars and am starting my 3rd season with Arsenal. However I had hopped to move into Spain, France or Germany but they only teams on offer were rubbish! It's infuriating but makes sense...kind of...

Patch should be out sometime this week for 360 and PS3. Fixes a couple o bugs here and there, bets thing to me is it has a form improvement. This will mean players can't run faster they usually can just because they're in form etc.

You'll have to restart Manger mode for them to take effect.

Nevertheless, not enough fixes for me, out of the 70 odd MM ones theres only 5 being fixed in the patch.

oh? Michael do you hang pout on the Fifa 2010 MB? Lots of interesting stuff on there except the idiot brigade.

Something i found out about the game from my own experience is that amature was easyish, semi pro was quite hard a jump up, yet professional is easier than semi pro.

Andy and I had a couple of cracker online games last night. I won both games but I think I had a bit of an advantage being the host.

Results:
Game 1: All Whites 1 QPR 0
Game 2: Gold Coast Utd 8 Wellington Phoenix 1 (I think that's what it was, I lost count :P)

Anyways, my point is, be good to get more on here playing online games. Alot of fun when you know who you're playing against.

Seeya for Round 2, Lonegunmen ;) welly_phoenix2009-10-22 09:29:34

360?

I personally have found semi pro and easy a doddle, professional a bit harder and the next one up forces you to play solid football, not just counterattacking or pressure football...

I realise now that I truely suck. If you want an easy win to boost your ranking, play me! But then it is about fun and when losing watch out for my cynical tacles! LOL

After you went to bed, I played some guy and was actually beating him and he quit the game, w**ker!1-0 QPR over Liverpool at that stage! I played a guy in Germany and the frame rate dropped so slow the game got scratched and then I lost 3-1 to with my 3 star QPR team and he played his 5 star Spuds team packed with a lot of famous players.

I tried a few games as a Pro player and it's interesting not being involved in the player as other players throughout the game but as just the one player. As a Striker i got naf all chances on the ball. and you watch the games from behind the goal view for the most part which doesn't give you a true perspective where you are on the pitch.

Still live and learn. I'll stick with playing as either QPR or the Nix. can we have Nix V Nix games? (Home and away kits used) i can see why on the forums they are saying playing as the very top clubs it's just about pressing a button and watching, whereas playing as a lower level club can be fun. When playing spuds there was snow all over the pitch - a first for my experience and a bit of fun.

Hope to see you tonight, headset in hand. I have a spare around here somewhere.

I enjoy playing on Online but can't really put up with the responsiveness. Makes it much harder to time anything.

I  just got annoyed at the opponent putting out 5 star teams against a lame team and getting off by whipping me. I didn't know Liverpool had signed Viera? Yeah right. Spuds were stacked with half of Barcelona and Real madrid players- yeah right.

I also noticed there's no oceania league.

Thats bloody gay aye. In my manager mode first season I signed Balotelli as a hit man for Arsenal and cattermole for the middle of the park, but I wouldn't use them in an online match!

I long for the day when online gaming is as responsive as real life (me and a good mate have some epic battles) and we can cross platform it!!!

Is FIFA 10 one of those games you can cross platform between 360 and PC with Vista?

I'm pretty sure there are a several 360 games which can be linked with Vista games, just another way for Microsoft to dominate the market.

ANyone else finding the "You Dominate entire match and the AI scores on the first sniff of goal" syndrome. I know that happens in real football, but far to often on Fifa games. Geez it pisses me off.

Way to many bugs on the ps2 version. cant even do manager mode anymore cos it just pauses after the first 5 mins of a game and doesnt let you continue. Lots of things that just dont happen in football aswell.
Stupid commentary is a pain aswell, just flat out wrong lots of the time.

Virtual Pro is cool, 360 degree dribbling is epic, gameplay is much better, you're so 200 and late.

I am getting f**ked off with the referees, it seems like the opposition players can do pretty much anything and you only get the occassional free kick but if you so much as look at them, instant free kick and yellow card.

Another annoyance is that they can come and take the ball off you dead easy but you try the same and they get the free kick or have a stronger defence in possession than a tank.

All I want is fair play for both sides. Or is it when playing as the Phoenix even the Game referees are just like the Aussie ones??

Which is infuriating when they score from them too! I'm over not getting any hand balls, just had a screamer blocked by an extended arm! Also, how often do they get in the bloody way?

Yes, its a great game.

HOWEVER, If you play Manager Mode, don't buy it till they patch it properly, else you're buying an uncompleted game.Michael2009-10-30 18:23:51

I have now played over 50 games (Only 6 online) and I have yet to receive a penalty. I've been floored, taken out, had the oppo blatantly handle the ball and not even a free friggen kick!

The game is good for sure but as I said, I would like consistancey for both sides. I have played up to and including World Class too and it is the same story at each level.

In the end when the referees allow so much crap, I get frustrated and just start taking players out! f**k them!! Oh hang on, it's only a game!!

f**k

Just played a game, should have been given 3+ Pks that all deserved red cards, yet they win 2-0 and I get two players sent off.

FFS, I'm sick of this bullsh*t. Did I mentioned they only had two shots on goal??? Did I also mention there defenders did more goal saving than there out of position keeper.
