Update (because I can):
 
Toon doing it hard (under legendary setting) - 6 more games to go but losing more than winning (still 2 pt lead at the top...from Burnley!)

You probably know this by now, but that was a glitch on old PS3s rather than anything to do with FIFA 10 itself.

I recently purchased an xbox360 and got FIFA 10 in the mail today.  I've played FIFA on PC since RTWC 98 and was getting more and more annoyed at how far consoles were getting ahead of the PC version... so I bit the bullet and will finally get to play it proper.

From what I've seen of them both (which isn't a lot mind) they're both the same anyway. PC, albeit poor graphics wise, is just as satisfying to play on, but I don't need to spend between $600 and $1200 every time a new one comes out

Well have completed the 2009/10 season on PS2
 
Toon demolished Barnsley in FA Cup and rallied in the last few league games to take out top spot (Guttierez came bac from injury in the nick of time)
 
I like this legendary setting - very challenging and if you start to relax and tonk the ball around a bit you can get punished on the break.

I am finally a "legend" for the Nix! I can now sleep at night. Now to be an All White legend!

Through my Xbox I became the true superstar my mediocrity in real life stopped me being.

thing that annoys me is that in manager mode when you look in the player stats, the appearances column includes all games (league, cup, europe) as it should, but goals column only includes league goals

So I felt that my Phoenix gaming experience was just not right while playing at the RoF. Where are the Who are yous, the Wellington is wonderfuls and the Same old Aussies? So on to youtube I went, and I made an audio track consisting of all our favourite chants, and uploaded it on to the XBox. As the game loads, I start it up. Ring of Fire plays through the speakers.

It sounds pretty cool. Apart from the Who are yous and Same old Aussie chants coming on at the wrong time. But until that beautiful day when the Fifa series adds the Yellow Fever to the game, it will have to do.

Into 2010/11 season and really struggling with Nix and Toon (promoted to EPL) in legend. Not sure how long before Terry fires me.

Wheres the cheapest I can snatch this up? I saw JB HI-Fi had it for like $65? Not sure if I want a second hand copy...

Awesome, he should play for Argentina!

I played a whole nix season over the weekend, and I found that even after I raised the fitness coach to 8/10 the team were getting massively fatigued every game, and after a few games most of the team would be down to the red in fitness even at the start of the next match.  Very annoying.

Fitness also depends heavily on your tactics. I've noticed "Free-form" positioning makes a huge difference on Fitness.

Awesome, if you see a Natopyro add ya, thats me, well it's my flatmates profile (My profile is Azevo, but he doesn't have any gold), but he doesn't play fifa, so it'd be only me being on fifa on it.

So far it's brilliant game. Just had Popmey win the FA cup haha

OMG! This is about the fifth season I've done on manager mode where it freezes at the loading screen after the match and it doesn't stop. The disk isn't scratched at all and I've read on forums that other people have had this happen to them too. Yet again I have a decent couple of seasons and now I can't play it again without starting an entire new one.

When I play online. I always have to download the squads. Why do I have to do this? And does anybody else have to do this?

I had the exact same problem with FIFA 08 on Xbox360. It was enough to stop people from playing against me as they couldn't be bothered waiting.

i have this problem as well tried saving squads and loading before going online but it still happens so not sure what to do, and you do miss out on games as most people are to impatient to wait for you.
