Anyone going to buy the game off stream?

I have. $50 off Steam, or $75 locally. Hmmmmmm, choices, choices haha

I'm going to, it's cheaper and I won't have to wait for the disc to arrive.

Steam is telling me it gets 'unlocked' ie released in tabout two hours, so I'm guessing midday is when it will be released.

How big is the download?

I asked that on SI forum and got only "2.5gb or so". Mines up to 68.5% so its doing pretty good time

Ah thats not too bad, i'll probably have to download it early next month to split it over two billing months.

I'm live! I can't start playing for two whole stinking weeks because Uni exams about to start but I went on for a nosy and it is slick! The NIX looks amazing and they have the up to date squad and uniforms! Downey and Daniel are transfer listed. I've never played the A-League before on previous additions but I'm going to have to start with the NIX!

How do you do that?

Gday Downey. The first time I bought a Management game was when i was in Scotland in the sixth form. It might have been the year they first bought out the 3D match engine. Anyway I'd heard everyone at the school I was at talking about it so went to the shop and FIFA Manager and Football Manager were sitting next to each other on the shop. Becuase FIFA Manager is EA Sports I assumed that was the good one so bought that and had two editions of that series before I reluctancy tried out Football Manager this time last year. Let me just say FIFA Manager doesn't come close to being in the same league as FM. Using a football analogy, FM would be premiership and FIFA Manager would be Blue Square Bet Premier. Its so far superior to the FIFA edition that I can't believe I ever played FIFA Man. To give you an idea I think I won the league with WBA in my first year, the score lines were like 6-3 every game, the goals were so unrealistic and identical, and Bednar and Wood (aged 18) scored 30 goals each in the Prem.

Just about to start with the Nix, edited the database to include A. Smith, C.Lindasy and B. Griffiths, and the ASB Premiership inc the Nix A team and a few other changes.

thanx for that nzmanu. im glad you cleared that up cos i was wondering how i could ask, without sounding stupid, what one FM12 was. i was wondering if it stood for football manager or fifa manager .

If you want to spend whole nights sitting at work glued in front of the computer, install it there. Otherwise, the laptop would be your better option, at least you can sit in bed playing it then.

End of exams.

First season with the Nix completed. Won the Premiership, but lost 5-3 to the Roar in the Grand Final. Heartbreaking stuff, especially when you can't even play in the ACL! Got dumped with a heap of sh*t youth players on youth contracts that run until 2018! Can't release them on frees without paying a fortune either (which is weird), so stuck with a huge squad!

So they finally fixed the problem with the Phoenix being let into the ACL?

Does anyone know how to play with the edited database? I edited it so the Nix have Lindsay, Smith, Griffifths and Ward however when I click into the game and select the edited database the changes haven't been made?

It should just work, it'a always worked for me.

Just finished downloading it with Steam.

First up. Montrose. They play in the Scottish 3rd Div so i'm pretty sure they are perpetually sh*te.

Hahaha. Anyone having problems with A-league teams not registering senior players? BTW i havn't played the A-league yet, just reading about it on the SI fourm
