Championship games are always fun. You could even play with AI teams and have an exciting season going for playoffs and promotion. It also makes it better if someone cant make it to play one week,they can just have their games against AI taken over by assistant manager.
 
As much as it is kind of average usually,the A league is quite a fun network game to play also. You'll find you'll target some of the same players,and the salary cap makes it interesting. You'll find the interaction and banter is quite high.

Speaking of Weston-Super-Mare a product of theirs, Ryan Harley, who is playing at Exeter City at the moment is being courted by several Championship teams for fees of around 400,000 pound!

Not too shabby for someone playing in what, conf. north or something only 4 years ago.

edit:...actually it seems that he's already signed a pre-contract with Swansea for a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract runs out. Rough luck for Exeter, they're one of the only fan trust owned clubs in the Football League so they could have done with that cash!

It seems people don't want to be Super clubs, but I'm still quite keen to do the editor-created-league so we don't have to play against non-human clubs. Perhaps everyone can choose a team from under a certain reputation?

Just set it up with teams of the same ability then people can come in and pick out of those.

I haven't ordered it yet as would only really get it if network game on offer. It takes 1-2 week to ship also. But don't wait on me haha

I Shall organise this tonight then. I'll pick around 20 teams of similar ability and each player can pick one. Will try to make them Championshipish quality, so they are good enough to attract quality without being spend-a-thons.

Bearing in mind i don't know what im doing:
 
Ive set up a game with england playable down to league one only (to keep us all in the same division.)
 
Im suggesting everyone choose a championship side. I chose Leeds.
The A league is also viewable.

sweet I'll join it tonight when I get jhome from work....playing times is evening after 7 for me, that's when the young rfella goes to bed and the wife leaves me to do my own thing, Weds evenings are perfect....but I can make most nights work.

No idea, but use of Genie Scout is ethically wrong.

I remember playing a network game with a friend in FM08 or something,and it was better to use hamachi.
 
But will see how this one works,if it doesn't connect or work,post in here.
