Anyone got the new Football manager yet?

I downloaded the mobile version a week or so ago. It is almost exactly the same as the FM21 one, just with more bugs. Pretty disappointing.

As always I start with a Nix save. Man, the FM people love Sutton. I just sold him to Fulham for 3mil. Ridiculous money compared to the rest of the league. But I will take it.
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

That seems like most games these days to be fair. I stopped getting FM a few years back, and as much as I love the game overall, it would take something special to get me to go back.

Hopefully Sutton can have a quiet word to convince young Dibley-Dias to turn out for the AW's one day. 😅

have purchased multiple versions of this over the years, currently running 19, so probably due for an upgrade.
Although if it's as buggy as you say maybe I'll wait till its cleaned up a bit.

That was mobile he called buggy. There are a few irritating bugs related to club culture in the full game but nothing major.

I overpaid for Arendse but I had way too much money so thought I'd gift some to Rob and co.

I tried making a FM comedy skit capturing the essence of a proper Football Manager weekend - would really like some feedback!

Just seen FM23 is coming to PS5 - first time coming to Playstation. I haven't played for years - used to get quite addicted to it and obsessed with being in control of every possible tweak and setting so it would take me forever to get through a season. Haven't played for quite a few years partly due to not wanting to commit the time but also due to not having a computer anymore. Would be keen to get back into it with a PS5 version.

I'm still on FM20 - waiting on some serious improvements to the match engine before I update.
So many things in soccer don't happen in FM (e.g. players shielding the ball, kicking it against the oppositions legs so you can get a thrown in).

I never used to bother with the full match engine when I played - usually watched the quicker pitch map view with the dots for players. Probably haven't played since maybe FM14 though so don't know if that's still an option. I figured I was more interested in the tactical decisions and subs etc than the graphics which is what I played FIFA for.

don't think they have the dots anymore but theres definitely visual commentary only. I play 21 on key highlights just because I dont realise when goals are scored otherwise.

You can change the camera view to only show 2D.

https://www.footballmanager.com/news/release-fm23-console-playstation-5-delayed

it was delayed due to them having a few hiccups in the approval process or something - loving the pc version thought especially after the recent improvements to the match engine.
