HELP!
Keep getting errors, usually they haven't effected game however I keep getting:
"XML parsing error! (invalid token) at line 1 of last_saved_game.xml"
and my save game doesn't load.

Bugger, that generally means you are stuffed and have to start a new game!!!
Usually occurs if you save game, and then close straight away. I have learnt that once I am done, to save and let process 1 day ahead then quit. Don't ask why it happens, I have no idea, and there is no logical explanation, it just sucks.

That is why you have a cycle of three saved games, so if one lunches you only go back a couple of weeks. Also I would suggest you turn of Save game compression as I have never had an 08 game fail with it turned off.

There is still an error popping up pretty much every page, including the last_save_game one and some profile ones.
I've delete every save, and all the other info and uninstalled the game, then I reinstalled but it still happens - how do I stop it?

loan eduardo from bahia or some team like that. plays any where and will no doubt be the best player. most effective as defender. i even signed him for my barcelona team and sent him on laon to psg and is scoring alot from defence.

No idea, re-install ?
I only get it occassionally on start-up, but once I have loaded a game it seems fine.
Mind you I'm playing the Phoenix in 09 this week.
Found two bugs already.
As for signing someone for Barca ? As my 08 game is in 2019 and Solihull Moors in the Championship I doubt he's what i need.

Mid-November, seems okay at this stage.
A few changes in tactics, and I don't have the flash 3d highlights engine in my demo (it's more about data).
With changes I just made to the Phoenix we should be quite good.

NIx do not have a Youth side, at this stage the U-23 marquee doesn't seem to be in there. Mind you currently there are a number of problems with the A-League I am trying to get fixed.

I don't quite get this corner cheat thing, I came across what I now understand to be the cheat under the guise of tactical advice but it has never been anywhere near as successful for me as others suggest it should be. Do I just fail?

No CL, you just don't cheat. One season i had with Villa a while back my top CB scored about 15 goals all season from corners and free kicks which lead me to believe i may have cracked the system, but alas next season he didn't score once and realised it was a one off.

If not I would have to see a SS to believe it, the biggest win I've had it 13-0 (not counting friendlies) Biggest friendly win was Aston Villa 19 - Otago Utd 0

The other team had all the players but there were like no defence ? Every player was up front and relaxed because it was second leg spanish cup semi. they won the first one 3-0 against my second 11 due to bloody international call ups

In 08 yes, 09 not sure. Everytime I get halfway through the season i get a new release and start again to test fixes for problems I have raised.
