A couple of years back we had an online game of Football Manager run by Tegal, where we played in the Championship and all took charge of a side and played against each other. However it was a bit of a nightmare because of the lack of decent online support from FM's end and Tegal never being at home to run the game. So we are going to try again!
We will be playing the Championship again, and would love for as many people to join us as possible. The league is half full at the moment, so there is still room for 12 other players to join in the fun.
Timetable:
We will be playing at the following times each week:

Once you're in, you can go ahead and create your manager, and choose the team that you've reserved in the thread. Please keep the 'experience' setting when you sign up as Automatic so that we are all on a level playing field.

are we meant to be playing tonight? I can't seem to find the game
I'd be a bit keen to join something like this, although how does it work with the timezones? Can I make all my transfer offers, set my formations, put my players up for sale, etc, when you are all asleep, and then see what happens when I log back in the next day? Actually, can I even join the game from the UK? If the first question is yes, how many weeks are you expecting to play in an average session? It will be a bit pointless if I put my transfer bids in and set my formations, and then check again and 3 months has passed with my assistant manager in control - it will not really be me playing.

The server seems to be running really really well tonight, it's advancing the game clock every minute perfectly, just like it should. Much better than Sunday night, thats for sure.

when i get to a game it's gets super weird..i was going through the pre-match stuff - picking my lineup and then it flicked to the game and it wasn't the lineup i had and then flicked back out of the game and now it's like that never happened and now i am not even up to the pre-match stuff again now... odd.

Yeah it's weird for me too, it freezes about 3/4 of the way through the game. Are you sure you hit submit on your team before the auto-advance advanced to the game? I'll make the time you have to select your tactics longer to make sure you have enough time.
Okay, now you have 3 minutes to select tactics before a match instead of 30 seconds, should solve that problem.
i dunno - even if i didn't i have my team setup in the main screen anyway - so there should have been no reason for the lineup to change - very odd.

Might give Sunday night a miss because the Phoenix are playing, but will be back next Tuesday night.
