So many hours wasted every year

My Steam Hours Played reads like a tragedy:

FM10 - 2031hrs

FM11 - 1790hrs

FM12 - 2058hrs

FM13 - 1202hrs

FM14 - 1134hrs

Some of this time is on holiday into the future, but it still is quite sad...FM08 & FM09 probably had similar numbers. Looking forward to the new one as always.

Hmm considering getting it. I used to get it every year but haven't for the last couple because I usually find I play obsessively for 2 or 3 months and get through a couple of season then end up taking a break and not going back to it. I'm someone who likes to be involved in every single aspect though so can easily spend a whole evening on it and only get through 1 or 2 games.

Bit of a worry how good Smithy is at working with youngsters.

I'm pretty sure Hard News snuck a few Feverites in there when he was curating the Oceania database for SI.

I also have issues with all our foreign players. They have Work Permit issues and therefore can't play for the First Team.

The Nix without Roly, Reira, etc is a bit shit. Other A-League teams don't seem to have the issue.

Anyone else getting that?

On another save Smithy was appointed the U20's coach.

Smithy to take us to glory in the World Cup!

yeah I had exactly the same thing. Just offer them new contracts

Roly and Reira are beasts in the game. Krishna is league top scorer with 9 in 11 matches

A-Rod has a CA of 80 and PA of 110.

Seems a bit low compared to other A-League midfielders. Zenon Carravella has a better CA!

Anyone else have a problem where the lower ranked team in the a-league playoffs played at home and higher rank away

struggling with this version. I've never been sacked in a fair few previous versions now. But in this one I've already been sacked twice and the contract at my current club hasn't been renewed yet.

I think this is completely in relation to them selling versions bought from "cheap" locations (Several game companies have done stuff about it lately), SEGA & SI Games are quite upfront about doing this, in particular they have started making versions from the cheaper markets so they don't work in the more expensive ones. (They used to just make them only in the local language).

Think NZgameshop will start selling US or UK versions, which are still cheaper than the NZ price point, but not t as cheap as the ones they previously sold (I have bought from OzGameShop for the last 2 years, cheaper than most places for NZ purchase)

The year before thaT i bought direct from SEGA, but that link to US site didn't work this season as it went to a new NZ/AU sale point which was more expensive.

I'm starting a save with the Nix. My goal is to win the A-League and try also to win the NZ Championship with the Reserve team and thus compete for the Ocenian Champions League.

Here a little update on my save. Something quite unusual happened in my save, a polish sugar daddy bought the club and now the Nix are incredibly rich.

My balance was -2M€ and has now reached the 40M€. My transfert budget has increased by 20M€. Unreal for a A-League franchise. I've only spent 1.5M€ to keep the save a minimum realistic.

I'm in the middle of the third season.

S1 : 1st Regular Season + Playoffs Winner

S2 : 1st Regular Season + Playoffs Semi-finals

S3 : 3rd Regular Season (after 14 games), after a terrible start.

The squad has quite changed since the start of the game but the majority of the young are still there. Unfortunately, my finances were so crap last season before the sugar daddy arrival that I sold Marko Mitrovic, my swedish top scorer (23 goals in 28 games, A-League record) to Malmö.

The star of the team is surely the pacy Appiah-Kubi.

I've been able to bring back Adam Taggart from Fulham. He has been injured the first 3 months of the season but he's back and hopefully he will find the nets as often as Mitrovic.

Pius is our wonderkid. The Nigerian is observed by lots of top sides, PSG, Ajax, AS Roma, etc, but i'm going to try to keep him a few years yet.

I would appreciate opinions from fans, on the transfers for example.

Interesting there Clem. I  did have the android version on my tablet but wasn't really playing it and needed the space.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

playing this, how on earth do you score a rich benefactor like that? I'm constantly struggling with owners who have no money and wont give me a bean to bring in any quality.

It's the first it happened to me and i'm playing since 2005. Some luck i guess.

But anyway with the salary cap it doesn't change a lot of thing. I've been able to improve the training structure and the youth network, that's pretty much it.

@Lonegunmen : You definitely need to try the PC or MAC version, it's way better. The best football simulation by far.

I'm already in 2019 i think but i've won only twice the A-League, i will show you some screens asap.
