Have you ever broken anything because of FM?

Three for me, and two for them.

My list down the years (that i can remember):

1 comp screen
1 laptop screen
1 arsenal mug
1 arsenal limited edition writband (i regret that big time)

2 computer mice

several drinking glasses and cups
several plates and bowls
put three holes in my bedroom wall and smashed my mums antique china cabinet

oh and a sky remote

Are they out of anger or excitement?

I got insanely excited when Thierry Henry scored in the 121st minute to win the Champions League with Arsenal. That was superb. And also when I won the World Cup with England. Broken a few minor things over the short time I have had it.

Worst thing ever is scoring but being called offside (and a late call as well) when it's not even outside. Hate that.

anyone got the number for an anger management counsellor?

I must admit to getting pretty excited about my team doing well....never broken anything - yet....but then in the current gma eI'm playing I haven't had too many demoralising losses.

Queenslander 3x a year.

I have broken many things playing computer games (mainly footy games and Madden), including a hole in the wall, PS3 controller, and an iPod.

I used to rage hard in competitive FPS games (when my teammates sucked).

But the pace of football management games meant i never got any adrenaline up (which usually triggered the agro)

FM 10 broke my brothers 1 month old Dell laptop. Got lots of beatings, plus, im pretty sure he threw out the game.. Still dont know how the computer broke just shut down and only just last month after 9 months a techinician managed to fix it..

I only break things when playing online FPS, Especially halo, oh god, the thought of hit makes me punch things...

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

I haven't broken anything, but when I was managing New Zealand and lost the OFC-AFC playoff to qualify for the World Cup on away goals (0:0, 1:1) I let my head fall onto my desk pretty hard, and it hurt.

I've snapped a few pens that have been in my hand when things don't go good.

I punch my bed luckily, but I'm sure something worthy will get broken in the future.

I used to just internalise my anger while playing the game. This lead to lashing out at people who ask silly things like, "When is Andy Carroll moving to a bigger club?", "Are you feeling alright?" or, "What time is it?"

These days, I mainly do LLM. This is better for my blood pressure - "Oh, no, we failed to top League 2 after getting promoted last season!"

Agree on the LLM blood pressure point. Same goes for managing in tinpot banana republics. Much more relaxing, but at the same time a little less exciting.

i dissagre i manage wrexham got them up to prem league and now have just qualified for europe for first time. lower leagues can be just as bad for blood pressure tho. i find the stupid ref calls or the fact opposition players always score when on drought..... or when the opposition scores like 4 wonder goals in a match...

I actually had a soft toy football that I would throw at the wall... I nearly managed so smash a lamp but caught it before it hit the ground

Wrexham are borderline for LLM - already Professional with a recent history in the League.

My last LLM club was Stafford Rangers (in FM08) - the board expected them to go down from Blue Square North. Through a combination of loaning players from the Championship and signing geriatrics from Holland, I won promotions in consecutive seasons.

The end-of-season media quotes were quite heart-warming.

No monitors but plenty of bad language. This applies to Fifa games. See my review in the Fifa11 thread for my reasons.
