New Star Soccer - app available on iOS and Android - won the video game BAFTA for 2013 for best sports/fitness game, across all platforms (incl PS3/Xbox/PC). It beat out other minor titles such as this mildly popular FIFA 2013 game.

I've had NSS 5 for about a year and a half on my computer. Fun to play although I do get quite bored after a while, especially when you become real good. Won the Euro Championship with Liechtenstein which was pretty cool.
Quite annoyed the way the ball moves. Sometimes you ask for the ball, and when the pass from your team mate goes, the ball kind of veers away from you and gets intercepted by the opposition.
Still, pretty cool game.
