I've pre ordered Battlefield 4 from Toys R Us in America. NZD$84 including shipping. Get to me just before PS4 arrives on 29th. Hype rising. KIllzone $78 from mighty ape.

Question. Does anyone here use a USA psn account to buy and download games ? It works out to be NZD$72 to download a new release.... Thinking about buying psn gift cards from amazon. The prices here are just ridiculous.

Yep, Sony & Microsoft know NZ is a soft touch place and rip us off acordingly.

I bought FIFA 14 for $70.00NZD online, but they left the UK price tag sticker still on it. (18 pounds sterling) = $35.00NZD. That was a rip off enough, but then you go shopping here and the same game goes for a minimum $98.00NZD and upwards.

Don't, please just don't, blame GST, Freight or any other topic. Just be honest and tell us that you are ripping us off for a fucken huge profit per item. My game from the UK INCLUDED postage.

Yea Game.uk is a good site as well. The only problem with this method is you have to wait a week after release. I suppose it's better than paying an extra $30-40 for the same thing.

I just created a US PSN to get all the apps like NHL, NBA and Netflix on my PS3. might end up using it to get PS4 games, but probably not in the near future with the estimated size of one game taking out nearly my whole data cap.

apparently Xbox One day 1 edition for $697 including either fighter within or NBA 2k14 from the warehouse. the day 1 edition also comes with the Fifa 14 digital copy. I wonder who is taking the hit on this? considering the xbox has an rrp of 749.

Got mine at 830am. Which was glad about because I'd stayed up all night as I didn't trust myself to wake up for it. Good thing I did because courier just knocked on door, left it on door step and ran off. Would've got nicked for sure. Bloody couriers.

So then I grabbed it, went straight to bed, and now have to go to work! Probably set it up tonight if am not too tired.

Anyone got NBA 2K14? I'm looking to get a PS4 game other than FIFA 14, would this be worth buying?

It's not as feature packed as the PS3/360 version, but the graphics are a thing to behold. I think it is worth it just for the graphics. what ever you do do not get NBA Live, it's a piece of shit. If you are after a sports game you could wait for MLB 14 the show, which releases on may 6. it looks really good.

I remember having so much fin on NHL 05 back on PS2. I'd be all over a new NHL game.

just reading back the comments about NHL, I was amped for NHL 15 on PS4 it came out a couple of weeks ago. But when it got close to release it came clear that it was lacking some major features, so I have not got it. the gameplay is really good as well as the NBC presentation package which you can see on the demo but the list of missing feature is longer than the feature list including basic stuff like no drafting in gm mode, no season mode, and no simming shifts on be a pro mode so you have to sit through 60 minutes per game.

I think EA on any console are spending way too much time making everything an online experience/ I mean, thats cool but some of us wish to play seasons on our own machines. My nephew and I like to team up against the CPU to kicks its arse which we usually do. But talk about mess you around trying to set up a local season and choosing your team and players etc.

They're moving toward having the same experience offline as you do online though.

Madden has that. It's the same career mode, but you can play with up to 32 friends online as well. Just as good either way.

Yep but I just hope it doesn't keep wanting to contact the server when I am not within my wireless range. Maccas gives you a GENEROUS 10 Megs free. That's about two web pages worth of information.

Anyone going to bother with Battlefield: Hardline?

I've been a fan since Bad Company 2 but the experience with BF4 (which has improved dramatically since release) has raised a few question marks.
