O'Lay.... I've been collecting SUbbuteo for a few years now......

I've got alot of gear..... always keen for a game. Playstation has seemed to put the likes of subbuteo behind the times.....

I'm in Wellie Bellies and have a number of mates who would be keen for a tournment!

I think you will love this blog: http://subbuteo-australia.blogspot.be/

Subbuteo has been relaunched and there are good things going on in Australia so right now I hope there will be some more flickers in NZ as well. Maybe you can have tournaments under WASPA banner. The WASPA blog is at http://waspa-circuit.blogspot.be/

cheers for that vincent, i have just got a few of my mates into playing subbuteo in the last couple of months, they are now getting better and enjoying it more than when they started.

Great! Feel free to contact me (via the blog) and maybe I can try to find some more players in your area to play with you. Any chance you can play have a "real tournament" in the future?

It's a table footy game. It's brilliant, great with a gang of mates and a few stubbies.

check out Subbuteo on Wikipedia or try the site that sells it here in New Zealand - www.nztablesoccer.com
Oh my fucking god I've just seen this 5 years after it was posted and you've just rocked my world.

only five of us at the moment in wanganui so would probably need more than that to run a tournament but if there were more people interested in palmerston north, wellington, hawkes bay and taranaki a lower north island tournament could be a possibility

i still have one full club edition subbuteo set for sale happy to let it go for $50.00 plus postage if anyone is interested.

In the WASPA circuit you need a minimum of 3 to have a tournament :) Will try to see if I have some other contacts in the area!

The tournament in Penrith (near Sydney in Australia) had 13 players, which is a great start! can't wait for future developments!

do you have a list of tournament rules eg. game leangth,, freekicks, touches by each player, moving players, etc.
we have kind of adapted the rules to suit ourselves so would be interested to see the difference between the proper rules and ours

Sorry for the late reply. You can find the full rules of the game on WWW.FISTF.COM
I must admit the "official" rules are sometimes difficult to understand!

I'd love a QPR team but we're so bad at the moment we'd fall off the table.

i have 7 subbuteo teams i would like to get rid of, the teams are

west ham             germany              belgium

liverpool                england               australia

the last one maybe watford yellow tops with red stripe down sleeve, red shorts and red sox with yellow top stripe.

i have about 30 teams most of which do not get used so time to move some on, these 7 teams are in top condition, i have never used them and have owned them for the last 10 years..

would like to get $20.00 a team but willing to negotiate a price if someone wants all 7, if no one on here is keen i will list them on trade me at a later date.

also have 1 club edition set which has a field, 2 teams, 2 balls, 2 goals, and 6 corner flags for $50.00 .

Over exposed picture - but you get the idea.

Some of them are probably better than some of the ones we actually have on the field.

I've still got my original subuteo with the addition of extra teams...hours and hours of fun, including infringement rules for pushing and not flicking at the ball with the player....lol

Just found this thread! I've got a brilliant old set at home complete with floodlights and players with the old rounded base. Also have a Liverpool grey away side from I think the 1988 season, can't remember if they are all intact.

i had a set when i was a kid also had floodlights a couple of grandstands terraces, pretty much a whole stadium with fans in the stands fence surrounding and all the other bits and bobs. asked my parents a while ago what happened to it when i moved out, their answer in the rubbish.

have a couple of sets at home and about 20 odd teams but find it hard to find people that are interested in playing, they all want to play playstation not table football, if it was subbuteo the playstation game more would probably play.
