Agreed, PES all the way. And if I need an A-League fix, I have Football Manager 07 which fills it in well. If PES has the A-League in the near future, my stomach will fizz. If FIFA are smart enough to include it, I might just consider getting a pirated copy off someone. Haha.

Is PES actually better than FIFA?

I'm actually a PES convert, so I know what the 2 games are both like. If you value excellent and realistic gameplay over anything else (with decent graphics), PES is for you. If you intend on getting the PC FIFA and you have a top of the range graphics card, FIFA07 is like the porno of gaming graphics. It's pretty damn good.

They also have more licences than PES, eg. PES6 only has the licences of Chelsea and Man Utd, so the other EPL teams have fake names. A lot of countries on PES have fake names and unofficial jerseys, so you have to spare time to edit them yourself. Some stadium names are fake as well.

They both have their pros and cons, it just depends on what you personally value more.

Gameplay and reality = PES

Proper names and graphics (depending) = FIFA

but if they don't include it, there are always patches and mods that people bring out later that include extra leagues

i prefer fifa - but i must say, only because i play on the pc and the patching facilities available are first class

I guess one positive of not having the A-League yet is that the Phoenix will be in the game by the time the A-League is, and we don't have to soil our eyes with Sean Devine scoring 1 goal from 25 shots.

get leagues like sweden and norway and mexico out and put in A-League, Argentinian League and Russian League.

Grrr, nobody likes the Iranian league, and apart from CSKA and Lokomotiv Moskva nobody likes Russian teams and apart from Boca Juniors and River Plate nobody really cares about the Argentinian league.

The only newly added league so far this year is the Irish Preimer League, BUT EA have announced that they're going to add 2 more leagues before its finalised, so fingers crossed.
