More like Nostradamus! To prophesy one of our biggest ever signings almost exactly 10 years before it happened is incredible.

Lmao pretty sure he is, think he said in an interview that he wasn't worried about coming out here because he had no family to worry about

Reminds me of Oz from Auf Wiedersehen Pet. I told him that yesterday and he laughed and agreed. What a good sort he is. Quite genuine.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Newcastle certainly train players well to miss "open goals" after viewing latest "miss of the season".   The latest was worse than his tho.

"I'd rather be an "Oz" than a "Neville"" - He reminds so much of the beloved "Oz" (Jimmy Nail). Awesome fella to meet and an awesome leader on the field. The passion and belief he has brought to the club. Has to go down as one of our top 5 best import signings. Ifill, Greenacre, Daniel.......

Top 2, I think, for me. Though early days to be fair.

Only Ifill matches him for inspiration. And Taylor is all class and confidence in his role on the field.

I am inclined to think Rossi was probably as good for outright quality, but he lost interest, didn't perform as he could have and was no leader, organiser or morale booster.

Don't think any of our other imports added so much quality as a guaranteed starter and team influence.

Looking at how we're performing, as well as Rudan, Taylor seems a big factor in our recent success. Although Durante is captain, Taylor seems to be a crucial leader on the park and in the group.
